yes that's the 200bhp version too, so goes a bit. Seems you can get an unborked one for about £2-3k on Autotrader (pre-facelift) but if it is just the alternator and not some other engine failure, this could be a shiter's bargain with some DIY clearcoat repair...

In my head, the Mini was never offered with the AP auto on anything bigger than 998cc... I also thought they stopped selling the auto much earlier than 1994?

Then again I suppose 1275+auto was offered in the Metro so it was 'on the shelf' so to speak.

Anyway, £8800 in Wales
