Apologies for the late response. The cost for us (a few years ago now) was €2000 with goodwill from Toyota. The new pack should well see the car through the rest of its life now, hopefully.

We also have a 07 Civic hybrid and it is not nearly as good as the Prius.

This is a bargain at 2k, as 1 litre models are being advertised at 1500-2k. I'm severely tempted as it's cheap to tax and insure, the only downside is it being in East Lothian where public transport is a bit lacking...
