eBay tat volume 3.

I think you should phone him and ask to view it.  If you like what you see make an offer, take a photo of him and his Passport, get a receipt, and take it home. If he doesn't answer the phone, try it twice more and then text, politely asking him to phone you as you keep trying but he's busy.

Seems about right to me. It's a good price - not a bargain nor unreasonably expensive. The lack of rust is in its favour! Worth a call and a look, I'd suggest.

As it's photographed outside Manor Farm, Cosford, Rugby, CV21 1HT and the chap whose farming business is based there is called David and he is of the right age range to recall the 1980s with fondness, it is probably him selling it... see here

I don't reckon XJ40s come any better. That XJ number plate needs to get to fuck though.

If I had a motor for sale and some geezer rocked-up and was like;

"I'll have it but I need a picture of you and your passport" I'd politely tell him to FRO.

Hpi it and get a receipt. Don't paypal it under any circumstances.

Do credit cards offer any protection, assuming a trader will take it?

4th gen facelift Camaro with the wrong engine.

Wow, those vandals really went to town with this thing. They've even added hood vents and ruined the floor mats with what looks like overspray to me. What disgusting human being would do that?

Also what kind of strange brown color did the car originally have?

£200 reserve not met. Surely this is £150 of scrap?

The 'last one in France', apparently. The first pic was hopeful, the last one told the truth.

I used to get a lift home from school in one of these when I was about 7 from a neighbour.  I remember the vinyl and that my neighbour got stung by a bee in it one hot day.  I can't remember last night's dinner though.

Yo Autoshizzlers, what do you reckon to this MG Metro on eBay? SCAM or NOT SCAM? I want to buy it as its identical to my first car that my now long-deceased grandparents gave me back in 95. But it seems too cheap and the whole dont message me, don’t text me, phone me 24 hrs seems a bit sus even if the seller really is a web-fingered spud-fucking yokel.
