I remember being part of a mass debate on Facebook a while back regarding one of these. A guy had picked one up for scrap and was telling everyone how it had a carb and everyone else (including me) was telling him how it was impossible and he must’ve got it wrong.

I took a trip to Motorhub to look at a MX5 , it's in an old multistorey car park and all of it is full, every space , Ferrari and Lamborghini on the ground floor , getting cheaper the higher you go, the MX5 was on the roof, next stop off the roof , christ there was some shite up there , even though it was cheap I walked because it was totally bolloxed, it was that bad I didn't even ask for the keys

 

They don't get great google reviews either
