That DAF with the Hiab on the back Billy posted has a confused identity, it thinks it's a Volvo when you look at it's flaps (fnarr)

Nice enough onion but seriously, 1,000,000 pence is silly, well ok 999,900 pence either way is pretty mental.

Makes me wonder what my Cossie will be with by the time I let it go, oh probably about £10 when some daft law gets introduced the day I sell it then removed a day later.

Got caught on my ml with that, bought it deliberately pre 2001 because the daily mail told me due to emissions it would cost eleventy million to tax per year as it was after 2001 which turned out to be post 2006.

Sigh.

Still I've had it for 8 years with only 2 breakdowns so it hasn't been too bad.

These yankydoodle bumpers are offensive.

.. handy picnic tables though.

Perhaps to refinish these in burr walnut veneer might improve their look ?

..come to think of it anything including green n' yellow polka dot stick-on 1960's kitchen cabinet vinyl would improve their look !

It's pretty pointless to assess the value of one's car based on one daft dinglebrain inept to put the decimal point where it belongs.

"Just" and "paint" are mutually exclusive.

Poor choice of words on my part, On the plus side, it's already primed!

Here is a perfect example of everything I hate about "Classic Cars".

FULLY RESTORED AT GREAT EXPENSE INCREDIBLY RARE MOPAR WITH 318 V8 STUNNING CAR !

So someone took a '61 Dodge Dart Pioneer, hardly a car that justifies such an investment, and restored it within an inch of its life.

Needless to say that the colour selection was Auction Red with black naughahide inside.

Terrible.

Although this combination was probably even available, it just doesn't say early Sixties America to me.

And let's take a car of the era when Detroit spent a lot of money and effort on making the arguably nicest wheel covers ever made,

bin them and replace them with those fucking dogdishes:

s-l1600.jpg

Besides, Mopar hadn't painted wheels body colour for quite a while in 1961.

Then go ahead and ask Nineteen Thousand Pounds for it.

Nineteen Thousand? For a '61 Pioneer?

Imagine the cars you could buy with that money.

At first I thought this is a bit too expensive to list here.

Comes with the seminuclear LT1:

Then I checked what the alternative looks like:

You're right, that sweet ass Mini knocks it out of the water.

No, it doesn't. Neither is it JRG, nor does it have those instruments that are too shitty even for a Pound shop.

If I wanted to pop £2k on a camper, this would be the one.
