that lanc isn't PA474 which is the BBMF's, but is NX611, "Just Jane" and is based down the road at the East Lincs. Aviation Museum in East Kirkby.

 

NX611 has the H2S dome fitted behind the bomb bay doors, whereas PA474 doesn't.

 

she isn't currently in flying condition, but is in ground running order. the long term plan is to retor her to flying condition though, which will be nice. and the sound of her running on full throttle is awsum to say the least, plus the smell of hi-octane aviation spirit is jut addictive....

Yet another - albeit strategically priced and non-working - 75. 

 

Seems a little odd that a fucking Alfa garage ostensibly owns it, yet doesn't have time for it.

Ooh! I clicked on that wondering if we had chanced upon the only other manual 825si fastback in zircon silver in the known world.

 

But no. It seems mine is still unique. This one's a mere 820 with an unexplained lack of alloy wheels that makes me think it perhaps isn't an SI at all.

 

And has a higher mileage and moar rust than mine. If this is worth £650 I can seriously think about putting my Scicilan retirement plan back in action.
