Time to clear out the fleet a touch. Too many cars and a dearth of time means this one is not on the list of cars to be kept.

 

This was the Burds daily commuter from August until Sunday - the MOT is now out.

It has done approx 6K miles since I got it.

 

Located near Glasgow, can collect from plane/train stations as req

 

Approx 104000 miles.

1.8 20v normally aspirated 125bhp.

5 speed Manual - selects gears no problem.

Clutch and brakes ok.

Hood in decent condition - no rips and car is watertight, but could do with a proper clean.

Manual hood operates properly (though the easy release for the cover doesn't work)

Part leather interior in reasonable condition- will seat 4.

All electric windows work - Inc the button to drop all 4 for putting the roof down.

4 good tyres.

 

Known faults

Wheel bearing (front right ) louder than Motorhead. A replacement bearing is included.

It needs a thermostat fitting - currently running cool. A thermostat is included.

Click from CV joint when turning hard right.

Exhaust backbox has been welded.

Top of dipstick holder broken. Dipstick sits in fine.

My first and only memory of these is watching Police, Camera, Action where the presenter hid in a car park with one whilst a helicopter tracked and found him with a heat camera.

 

I'm not as well endowed as these other chaps so no means of getting it home without tax n mot. I would say good luck but with the rate this is going you don't need it!
