Also ran a quote on this, £967..... 40yrs old, 2yrs NCB, Clean licence with 21yrs driving, Good postcode, garaged, Business Use at 10K per annum and Comprehensive, Value £1.5K.

That’s £400 over what I pay on my current 2013 320d Tourer for same policy criteria (AXA).

Weird. That's higher than my own insurance for it, and I've only got 1 years no claims on this policy.

It's £923 for me, absolute madness.

51, no accidents in last 5 years, 3 points, etc etc. The car isn't worth that. I get the impression insurance companies are bumping up the prices for insurance off cheap old cars.

I paid £220, mid 40s, full no claims, valued at £1200 to avoid the sub £1k premium they apply. The V70 is £100 more.

I bumped the value up to £1300 and it dropped to £671 - still unacceptable.

Tradex policy as an additional free, it does cost £650 a year though.

£436 pa, rural north northumberland, postcode is 'B' on those risk lists, 34 years old, 0ncb, one additional driver.

Any interest in this at £375? Or £6 a ticket?

It's been depositing mayo a tad but it's been like that since I got it over 1500 miles ago, but I do a lot of short trips in it.

No running issues to speak of.

Anyone?

A little bit, the coolant has gone a bit milky too but it's not got on the cap at all. Like I say, no running issues so it could be suffering from short journey syndrome.

2 Randi rogers please

Sheffield isn’t a very cheap place to insure a car though. I was paying over £700 on a Mondeo estate. Crazy price! Like you say the car wasn’t worth that, I expect that’s not what they’re worried about, it’s what you’ll hit. Also on old bangers the expectation from the insurance company is that you’ll get pissed and drive it home from a flat roof pub after 10 pints. Which, to be fair is the usual format where I live. (Not by me might I add...)

What’s all this running quotes nonsense? I’ll have a random and a packet of brave pills please.

I'll have a couple of randoms, please. Basingstoke has been roffle-lucky for me in the past.

There's no space left on my driveway with the recently collected roffle focus taking the last spot.

2 randoms please.
