Since this year is almost over, it's time to make plans for next year.

A sizeable AS delegation attended the inaugural event in 2016. Expected to be some half arsed giffer show, to everyone's surprise it turned out to be a superb spectacle with lots of noise, fumes and yes, speed. A return visit to the 2017 event proved to be not less satisfying. For this year, the event was not held in the town of Bromyard, it was integrated with the Shelsley Walsh hill climb, so we skipped it. But next year it'll return to Bromyard and thus we all should go again.

Can you drive both of your Saabs there then we'll be sale to pap three in a row?

I guess that’s a date to aim to get the second Saab back on the road by...

I'll do my best to turn up with something 1310 shaped. The 40 minute trip should be quite entertaining.

Need a potential backup car? I'd be interested in this as haven't managed to get to the Speed Festival yet.

What parade? I don't think the plan reached the stages of formality to go on parade. Usually AS just turn up and have a laugh. 40 quid is a rip off whatever it involves, I would expect an oil change and full valet for that.

Studying the website I am none the wiser, Junkman's comments regarding a giffer event echo in my mind, information is sparse to say the least. The parade appears to constitute laps of the town centre... can some seasoned veteran of Bromyard clarify?

Bump! Can we re-create the excellent attendance we had here a few years ago?

This is exactly what it is.

Seconded. Escort RS2000S going surprisingly fast through a rather pleasant town. There are several decent watering holes and pasties. A lot of pasties.

PARADE? Balls to a parade, never did that.

Parked in a field at the top of town and got a FREE bus down the hill to the completely FREE event when I went 2 years ago.
