So trip to local 24hr Tesco (where the youth was doing handbrakes and skidz) to procure stop leak.

None found so second best was achieved

Popped to a nearby garage to see if they had anything.

Having to take m1 as m6 is shut.

So far the car isn't self healing

Plans for the car are MOT first then see how it goes from there. Then mot other one and see what that fails on.

Woodall services....

It seems like the pump is only leaking when stopped and system is under pressure. If it was leaking the same amount as when we stop then the rad should be empty.

But so far only used about 1 litre of water.

leave the cap off and stop it pressurising. I did this with a civic and it was fine for months till I px'ed it.

By the time we had successfully failed to find any synthetic leak stoppy stuff anywhere we had passed all the purveyors of eggs. The car was fine in the end anyway. It didn't seem to leak much, if at all, when on the move and like me and Moog it was just when we stopped that it had a big wee.

It drove grand all the way back and we only ended up stopping a handful of times to top the water up.

Here's the older brother and it's new sibling.

I think Moog fell asleep as he stepped through his front door, and now me and our third member of the collection crew are ready for a good fifty or sixty winks.
