What happened to the white mini with the moon discs?

Going back to the finance company due to catastrophic fucked-ness. Don't want to talk about it, it was a mistake.

Bollocks. Too expensive for me I'm afraid

Well you could always have if without the MG wheels.  It would look like this then.

And it wouldn't be quite as harsh a ride or tramline about as much

Can you see my bonnet hump?  The hump that says Rover performancing.

It's a bit rusty, but it's got a clean MOT history. Drives lovely.

Got a lot of lacquer peel, but it was never going to be a looker. Plenty MOT. 1.6 auto. 63,000 miles.

Currently sitting in it while my girlfriend grabs some shopping.

She was amazing, when I saw it for sale, she called a Taxi, paid for it and the train fair, and accompanied me to get it.

'Executive' FTW

Er, something steamy going on inside there, sir , or just a trick of the light ?

I was sitting in it sorting insurance  so it got a bit steamed up. Had a panic when they referred it, 'due to the age of the vehicle' Can't believe it's 26 years old.

These used to be everywhere, in appliance white, back then I could never work out exactly what made them 'Executive'. I just thought they were wank.

Obviously 15+ years down the line I can see my mistake, they are fine examples of Japanese '90's motoring, it looks good so far, we need to see the trim though!

I reckon you might be chasing a leak somewhere too.

A leak? I can't see anything ..

Just had a scary moment when I opened the sunroof, and it wouldn't close. It has a button that you have to hold next to the switch  presumably to stop you trapping your fingers?

Auto box feels fine, not clunky. It's not going to set the world on fire performance-wise, but it's meant to be laid back I guess.

The seller had put it on Facebook, and I saw it 45 mins later. An hour later I'd exchanged the money.

3 speed with overdrive slugger in these I believe? My neighbour put 80k on one in 2 years as an A/C engineer up and down the country, was faultless. Only sold it as 30mpg is quite expensive at 40k pa!

If it’s a 1.6 auto you should be able to get a good 36mpg on sensible runs.

They’re good cars - we had 2x Carina E’s in our family and never gave a minute of drama.

I remember them being very boring and the seats very firm. And I think push button radios too!

Looks really smart. Nice design. Well bought mate.

Excellent cars. Had a version of this back in NZ, very smooth and reliable despite mega mileage. 63000 is nothing to one of these.

Great buy!
