Classiest car ever

Just look at it, sheer class. It would also never suffer the ignoimy of breaking down, especially on it's public debut.

Also you people posting coupes and supercharged whatevers are missing the point. Speed implies the need to hurry, or a vulgar display, class cares for neither.

More achievable.

The beautifully proportioned Triumph 2500 S.

I thought my shout of a Fiat 130 May be a leftfield choice but it appears I am among like minded individuals, as it seem to be winning the popular vote.

I recon my 940 Classic has a definite air of 'Old money' about it.

I'm clearly biased though so I probably would say that. Otherwise I would 100% choose a Corniche, they totally ooze class IMO.

^Lovely.

I spent lots of time and energy trying to create a vintage sportscar feel in the cockpit of my last Eunos, I made my own quilted doorcards, fitted toggle switches and alternated between Nardi wooden and leather steering wheels. Despite being an eighties car it actually genuinely felt much older once you were sat in it.

Anything named after a light bulb must surely be outside the scope of this thread.   However, your Mazda interior is top work there Joey and captures the Lotus-ness that was the design brief.   I like it!

In the meantime I have been merrily contributing and sagely agreeing with the majority of this post, all the while overlooking that this IS actually Autoshite.

So, there should only be one choice....

You're right, the Mini is possibly the only truly classless, therefore classy, vehicle ever made. It's a pity that other thing pushed its way into the shot though. Vulgar is as vulgar does.

Rollers and bentleys are much too vulgar. Anything you can’t fit in a parking space isn’t classy, it’s just ostentatious.

Also anything that doesn’t handle has to be struck off the list as we all know there’s nothing classier than the occasional hoon.

Jag saloons are a bit too ropey antique dealer, which whilst is kind of classy, isn’t what we’re going for here.

Having had a Fulvia I would be included to add it to the list, but not being able to fit in a lurcher isn’t classy.

What we need is something that is fast, has a big engine with a touch of the old money Land Rover practicality.

The lynx eventer comes close, but I think is just pipped by an Aston shooting brake on looks.

The DB6 zagoto is pretty nice, but is perhaps just pipped by the DBS. Imagine this without the scene roof rack, some subtle wheels and I reckon you’d have a winner.

You’re all doing it wrong. Nothing says old money class with nothing to prove like a well-used 1980s Granada, Merc W123 or Volvo estate.

No apologies for reposting this pic.

Edit: I do not have any old money, I am just pretending, which is very not classy of me.

At least picture it at your main residence Skizzer, not the tiny, cramped holiday home..

For me, it’ll always be one of these. Old Volvo’s always scream old money to me and this one is particularly special.

Old Rolls-Royce, Jags and various other detritus

Anything that the local scrap metal yard manager either owns or aspires to own cannot be in any way classy.

This is classy:

And having worked on one, I would never want to own one. Ever.

The rolls-royce does not qualify, as per my comment about scrap metal yard owners above...
