Sold Daihatsu Grand Move SOLD

     Hi all , any interest  in this?                                                                                                                                                                         This is my daughters Daihatsu Grand Move , which I am attempting to sell on her behalf.

 

Its a 1.6 engine and if i remember correctly she is the second or third owner. 

 

It has 72,000 miles and an MOT until 25th September.

 

The engine runs sweet.

 

Keep fit windows all round.

 

The bad bits: 

 

Exhaust has broken somewhere near the back box.

 

The steering creaks, not certain what is causing this.

 

There is a small dent below the offside rear light.

 

The rear seat back cushion has a small section that has been torn.

 

 

Otherwise its fairly straight and only minor scratches .

 

Looking for  about £200, but possible discount for Autoshiters.

I think it's worth saving, hence in true Autoshite style, considering buying it off my daughter and repairing.( I believe I paid for some of it when she bought it)

Steering creak could just be ball joints, and exhaust is a reasonable price.

I had creaky steering in my Mini, turned out to be dry plastic bearings on the column and UJ. A squirt of WD silenced things for a bit, eventually lithium spray grease provided a slightly longer temp solution so maybe Daihatsu use a similar arrangement?

Our local Hermes chap has one of these that he inherited. It's white with professionally painted wood panelling.

It looks shocking, will take pic at first opportunity.

This is a lot of car for hardly anything at all. Hugely practical and it looks bloody comfy.

 

Fix the exhaust and away you go.........

 

I'm so tempted but I really would have no use for it due to the Galaxy.

Great value -  a lot of the car for the money, even just a couple of months motoring is a bargain.

This is a Pyzar isn't it?  Don't the seats turn into a double bed?  Even if not it's a van that can actually go to the dump.  MOT'd and running for £150!
