Ha ha ha . Well done ! I can stash it for you for a bit in Ayrshire if you want to get it he next time you’re up. I’ve currently got an empty lockup .

Well done/commiserations Kiltox. If this arrangement suits you let us know and I can arrange to drop it off.

If you drop it off I can give you a lift back up the road . I’m guessing you want your drive back ?

Let me check if I can come up this weekend - would be flying into GLA if I can.

If not this weekend I don’t mind going to Ayrshire at all

I don't have any immediate need for it so happy to drop off when it suits. A lift to the train station will do, only a few quid up the road. Saves a jaunt

Please tell me it’ll go further than the 0.7 miles the last one did before I had to call assistance :D

I don't want to tempt fate but its been sound as for me, zero issues

Can you not get it in the back of the van?

If I was as well endowed van wise as twosmoke maybe - don’t think it’ll fit in my little tiddler :D

Let us remind ourselves of the last time we had Kiltox Vs Panda.

Engine swap hasn't fixed this pile of shit - it's still fucked.

Think the ECU is fucked as I originally thought before I started doing compression tests and finding water where it shouldn't be.

Oh and the brand new sump has a flaw in its casting so it leaks like a fucking sieve.

Pretty sure I need to just frag it and move on

Start engine

Engine revs it's bollocks off for a few seconds (no rev counter but I'm guessing 5k revs)

Revs die down and then pulse between a normal idle speed and 3k or so

After a bit it dies down a bit more like it's going to idle properly and then stalls

Hugely difficult to restart unless left for hours

Not long after it was scrapped...

Even after changing the engine and it not running properly I still didn’t feel as low as when I walked RIGHT TO THE BACK of the lot at Newport Auctions and found this car fucking filthy as I got in and struggled to start it

Boo, didn't win!

Well done Kiltox, the Panda has chosen you and decided to give you a second chance.

Don’t be mean to it.

Killing two Pandas is frowned on

So tempted to put a plate on this with L77 to commemorate the famous Lot 77

Or funtime Italian nu-metal band Linea77...

Looks like I’ll be flying to Glasgow in a week or so and then driving this horrible thing 330 miles home.

That’ll be fun*

You'll be able to engage SPORTZ mode and rally your way home. Probably need two tanks of juice mind, it's about 30 litres capacity

Glasgow is a very long way away so I'm not feeling too disappointed but I would love to have a go in one of these - I'd have a sad face if it had been just round the corner!

What kind of fuel economy are we looking at - 40mpg?

Mid 30's, it revs quite high at motorway speeds, even in 6th gear your at about 3.5k revs at 75

I thought the mpg was decent for what it is. The 6th gear really helps .
