I think it's just iffy connections. Due to being a lazy twat I unplugged the old router and reused all the wires. Then packed all the new ones I'd been sent into the recycling bag with the BT router.

 

I've managed to liberate a spare wall to router wire from work so fingers crossed the internet is working.

With my usual supreme efficiency I managed to completely avoid all the people who wanted to buy things at Festival of the Unexceptional.  I have 4 mugs here wrapped up and ready to post out and should have the other mugs and clothing I ordered in the next few days.   I'll PM bank/paypal details to 4 people who asked for posted mugs first then sort out the rest when I've got it wrapped up.
