Sounds more like a product for women cyclists.

Bloody hell that's up there with Triangle and Achilles for names that shouldn't be put on a tyre

You definitely don't want your cruiser wandering all over the shop.

My Jaguar came with a set of Mohawk tyres. Presumably a lot of tread in the centre but none at the sides

Beaten to it, four years ago.
There's a pair of 2018 vintage Mohawks out front at the moment, the centre tread is the only bit that's not cracked. Both outer 3cm of tread are cracked to feck and the walls are also cracking, still got about 5mm of tread on them but, jings, they are buggered. I honestly wonder if some people ever look at their tyres?

These are actually the starbuy ditchfinders for paupers and ne'er do wells at my local indie. No thanks m9, I'll have the Tracmax or Aptany please

That’ll be something like a 140000000000/55 x 16?

Watching Felxiny again on YouTube, this time he's turned his attention on one of those mid-90s forgettable Passat estates which wears these:

A "Hakkapeliitta" apparently these tyres are by the equally daftly-named "Nokian" tyres.

The other tyres were these:

Nord Frost tyres by Gislaved.

I wouldn't say Nokian is a daft name.   They're from Nokia in Finland and make excellent winter tyres

Gislaved is a brand of Continental for winters, mostly sold in places that definitely need them.

Yes, both are excellent test winners. Well, maybe not the ones pictured.

Nokian was formerly Nokia, but when Nokia thought the future was in telephones they sold the old rubber industry (including wellies production) off, granting the the right to keep the name but add an ”n” in the end.
