Hmm isn't there street racing round a course laid out in the industrial area of Nelson this time of year? If it's on it's a cracking event.

You bastard hairnet !!!!  And that is NOT wd40 but puncture repair stuff which hairnet bought. Battered chair , that is comfy chair, in need of throwing out. You did not mention the battered ,overfed, underexercised body.

A ha, my scrap yard sense tells me you are in the middle of the North Island near National Park?

Hairnet, if you manage to find a Hunter estate with a 'Safari' badge on it then, err, I've got a good home for it!

One day the GM NZ  G M came to work and decreed that all cars sold by G M from that day forward would be badged as Holden. And so Opels became Holden's. True story.

Don't know about anyone else on here, but NZ looks positively attractive at this moment.   Especially that scrapyard.....

If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find them... maybe you can hire... This guy and his battered chair.

And a northern nutter on a moped...

Lookout was at the top of the Kaimai ranges between Matamata and Tauranga. Kai  (say sky without the s) mai (my). For Matamata say mutter 2x. Tauranga is Tow ronga as in Wonga. The locals will be able to take from there !

Enjoyed your visit, come again.

The is (was?) a great scrapyard I visited outside Hamilton (I think). Can't miss it as it has Rolls Royce on th 25 foot high plinth by the entrance.

It was 22 years ago and no camera phones back then, so no photos.
