Saw my old Peugeot 206 GTi that I sold last September(ish) literally a minute's walk from my mate's house in Norwich! Looks like it's owned by someone there so I have the satisfaction of seeing it every time I'm down there :D

Will probs leave a note on the windscreen though

Mrs RP has decided I need another project and has purchased a 64 Imp

Blimey! Lucky man. The only projects my missus arranges for me start with a trip to B&Q.

Went to a funeral yesterday. Not normally something to make me smile. But the hearse was a Chrysler 300C. With Bentley badges on the front. Amused me a bit if nothing else.

Until I got to the bit about Bentley badges I had a picture of a '55 Chrysler hearse in my mind.

Sorted my car out - all lights now work / changed wheels / new number plates and two goes at cleaning the inside have stopped it smelling of the previous owners fags.

Feeling the Corsa love here.

Today I mostly enjoyed having the windows down in ths shite-mobile, whilst singing along to Guns N Roses and clocking all the quality flange the nice weather seems to bring out.

That was directed AT me by someone on here.

I got a new instrument in the post today :) so while resting between shifts fixing the LT I played the mandolin, and had fun. Sometimes it's the little things...

Nice, and that video is so much better than the shit MTV put on (in the five minutes a day they actually show music videos)!

Good for you. It really is sole destroying being on the dole. Come on then - what are you doing from home? :)

Congrats on the job mate. Looks as if you've got 2 computer screens, a scanner, a dell computer tower and what looks to be like 2 printers on the bottom shelf in the Blue boxes. Did they come from the company your working for?

I used to shift these kind of things around at the warehouse I used to work at so I recognise the boxes more than anything.

It's all faulty, so I'm staying true to the "shite" ethics. :)

Basically repairing stuff and selling on, not the ideal time with this credit crunch malarky but I've wanted to give it a go for a while so dragged myself from the pit you get in without a job and scraped up every penny I could, sold my car hence the £400 Astra Estate and going to give it a go.

If it doesn't work out money wise then no loss and better to have had a go than sat wishing about it down the line.

Apart from the stock, I've only had to buy the shelving and the desk, everything else, screwdrivers, soldering iron etc, I'd got already or got for free (the filing cabinet thingie) so I'm not owning ££££ on equipment or premises. :)

Nice one Claypole. Freecycle might be worth joining (if you're not on there already) as a fair bit of repairable stuff comes up on there.

Is there anything we can look out for you for to help at all? Just thinking some of us might be lobbing stuff out that could help you. Good luck with it and let us know how you get on please.

2CV camp this weekend. Really looking forward to it. Great company, great cars and lots of drinking - though I don't partake, others actions can be amusing - and I'm the annoying bloke who remembers them all the next day!

Don't want to start a new (non-shite) related thread so hopefully nobody will mind if I ask on here:

Anyone got any experience of 02 broadband? I want to change provider (mine is shit) and 02 seem to come out o.k on one on-line check thing I did, but it'd be nice to know if anyone has experience of them direct?

Cheers.

Get in there. Murray's been knocked out of Wimbledon!

I'm using o2bb, have been for a couple of years. Reasonable speed, cheap cheap, very few failures in service, customer service top drawer when my supplied router went tits up.
