Nice one. I bet you're glad to have ended your drought. Was it with the Dutch Girl?

Theres nothing better than a bit of nookie after a fallow period for putting a spring back in your step.Think I might crack open a bottle of vino & listen to the new Fall lp again.

Stop talking about alchohol !!I have a bottle of Brown Rum begging to be drank, but an upcoming piss test says "DO NOT DRINK"

I've earnt a drink. I offered to help a good friend out by clearing her garden. This has involved pulling down a shed and fence, felling half a dozen trees, pulling down a brick wall, lifting paving slabs & breaking up a concrete path.I'm 2 days into the 4 day 'project'. Its actually going quite well, but every bone & muscle in my body is aching, unsuprisingly.

No pictures, but I spotted one of the mythical 1.7 TD Mk3 Astra "Sports" that was referred to on AXRescuer's Pineapple recommissioning thread on the M42 earlier this afternoon. It had the rather nice 15" steel wheels that they came as standard with, too.

You must be taking alot of tea breaks.

Hell yes of course!I was also provided with a high-viz jacket & hard helmet. I drove to the local shop in the Maxi in the jacket & felt like a 1970's million dollars. 8)

I saw what I thought was the abandoned local Montego on the road this morning. Cracked back bumper, big hole in the n/s/r wing and exhaust blowing loudly.

BX passed its MoT today. Ok, so there's two pages of advisory items (mainly OMG, there's a tiny bit of surface corrosion near a seatbelt mounting!) but she's legal again. This = grin.

Bought this on eBay last week, and it turned up in the post:

It's a Peco "Universal Straight Through Silencer" - type COMP1. It's taken me right back to the early 1990's when we used these or variants thereof instead of the rear box when we couldn't afford the full performance system. I had a comp4 - same diameter, 6 inches longer - on my Lada 1200 and a peco Red Bullit on my Metro.

I don't know what I'll put it on, but everytime I look at it, it makes me grin!

Type 'lol Limewire' into Google then hit 'feeling lucky'.

Well it appears my housemartins have sucessfully hatched a couple of eggs as the parents are flying back and forth like mad . We have had a nest every year except one for 17 years , that year the nest collapsed through drying out , We stuck a RSPB concrete type thing up and this is the forth year of sucess with them using it , never seases to keep me entertained , especiallt when the chicks stick their heads out for feeding when they are a bit older , Weve blackbirds nesting at the front of the house somewhere under a tile , oh and two hegdehogs come around most nights eating all our slugs

Love wildlife, got any pictures please Rusty?

Thanks.Keeping me happy the last couple of days has been gardening. We've only got a shitty back yard (not a 'proper' garden) with no grass so thought it was time to brighten it up a bit. Scored a few plant pots etc from Freecycle so got to work with bedding plants and what have you and it's coming along nicely.Have plans for a sort of 'theme' for the yard, first stage coming along nicely.

Can I suggest a "Trebus" theme? :D

I'll have to Google that one!I'm pondering an Autoshite(ish) theme as it 'appens.
