This lad does appear to be something of a bum nugget doesn't he? Do you reckon he's going to spit his dummy out then re-appear with a new name soon afterwards?

You can all bow to my obvious superiority. I have a PDF format D70 manual and TWO WEEKS experience on a local newspaper. Youse all know NOTHING about electronics.

He appears to have done exactly that.... automaitc/classictech is now "guest"

same gadji tried selling this via RR, after 3 locked for sale threads he still hasnt provided evidence of its BHP figures, now some poor ebayer will be saddled with it

He can't produce evidence of the BHP figures. It's a 2.8, with the original albeit flowed and ported siamesed port heads. 250-280 bhp maybe, but 600? Methinks not.

To be honest, that lot for £620 isn't that expensive once you include the gearbox etc.

For the un-initiated, he's talking about a Citroen GS. Or a Suzuki GS1000 that's had a MASSIVE re-bore. :D

LOLZ...

I've got these waiting to go into my GSX1100SZ Katana when I get round to it

Jenny Hill off the BBC. I'd SMASH it.

Google image search for "Jenny Hill" is very NSFW, as the news person shares her name with another young lady who tends to bare all :shock: .

Pauldaf44/automatic/ClassicTech has a new username... he's also cdtc, and has started giving advice again already!

How did I notice so quick? He posted from the wrong username defending himself against xbollox

Not quite there was a fault with the ignition light wiring somewhere deep in the loom. That is why my tutor told me to put a resistor and a diode in line in a direct wire. As this would simulate the iginition light and would make the alternator work as it should

and then deleted it again a minute or so later. I already ctrl-C'd it though.

That lad has a couple of ghost-town forums of his own, could be handy if you need 50% of a piece of inaccurate techincal 'advice'

Back in december my brother bought me some speakers for Gladys as a birthday present, unfortunatly they are the type you mount in a door card. I really didn't want to cut the door cards so since then they have been using their own magnetism to hold them to the dash.

The guy's a fuggin laugh a minute.

Ha ha!!

I'll grant that it's fairly tidy, but he's still well over 1,000 quid optimistic there.

He's dropped it to £1300 now..

Ugh.

The reason I don't attempt work like that is because I know I will be shit at it! What a plum.

Sorry to bang on about this guy, but he is a genuine comedy goldmine.

Knowing Paul personally and having spoken to him I know their is a lot more to him leaving than replys in this thread!

In fact in the grand scheme of things this was a very minor concern to him. So I ask you please just let it go. Apologys have been made and they where sincere

Is that because you are, in fact, Paul under yet another username? ::
