I've been grinning like a mad thing this afternoon because I've rediscovered what a good guitar the fender stratocaster really is. After about a year of various gibsons, acoustics and mandolins I got the old strat out of the wardrobe and had a damn good play with it. yay.

 

PS. Mrs S has a new tapestry she's doing, so I didn't get disturbed at all. Double yay.

British Airways' 757s are being retired on October 30th apparantly, G-CPET has been repainted into the scheme carried by the first 757s BA operated and is doing a farewell tour of the regions on October 30th, including Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester apparantly... might have to break the no planes rule and head into work for photos that day!
