Traipsing around a scrapyard and clambering into cars to retreive parts and dealing with the owner who is at least helpful and decent to talk to. Got myself some K11 trim parts :D

^ I enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing.

I've been grinning like a mad thing this afternoon because I've rediscovered what a good guitar the fender stratocaster really is. After about a year of various gibsons, acoustics and mandolins I got the old strat out of the wardrobe and had a damn good play with it. yay.

PS. Mrs S has a new tapestry she's doing, so I didn't get disturbed at all. Double yay.

Nah sold that before I left. So now I have the choice of trying to find a temp job in Rochester and being able to buy a car, or find a proper job, house, then car in Plymouth

My mate and I missing the last train from Keighley to Bingley on Friday night. Surely this should be on the grumpy thread? No, it was our own fault, we spent too much time looking around the cab of the 25 that had just brought us back from the KWVR beer festival!

Ooooh, fitties of yesteryear? Mate of mine has a hyuuuuge poster of this on the wall of his (admittedly frickin' huuuge) living room.

10 thumbed talentless noise polluting. Makes me smile though, and seeing as I got a digital recorder thingummy and found a MP3 hosting site I can inflict noise on others too.

... British Airways' 757s are being retired on October 30th apparantly, G-CPET has been repainted into the scheme carried by the first 757s BA operated and is doing a farewell tour of the regions on October 30th, including Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester apparantly... might have to break the no planes rule and head into work for photos that day!

Back To The Future is great. Slightly frightening that its 25 years since it came out though.

Also, the renewed interest in the film is GR9 news as it means that models of flying DeLoreans are selling like HOT CAKES.
