Today on my way home from WATsville I joined the 56 westbound at Altrincham only to find that the motorway was not only closed in the other direction but it was also closed behind me.

 

I had a whole motorway to play with as far as the M6 intersection 5 miles away.

 

It's a somewhat surreal experience travelling at well over two and a half miles a minute for so long without seeing another vehicle, in fact it was more like driving on a rolling road.

I move in with a man tomorrow. a yuppie type. erk! No, not "turned" but agreed to a houseshare. £300 a month all inclusive for half a brand new two-bed place in a private courtyard. Still, should be good. I currently spend £200 a month on petrol and this place is walking distance from work, so all in it's not costing me a lot and it gets me out of my mum's house. Aged 31, that's quite an important factor.

The strange thing is, shortly after, I was thinking wouldn't it be mad if a Marina just happened to drive past.
