Mrs Trigger is hand feeding me poppadoms and chutney from the kitchen into the dining room a piece at a time, I might send her off for my beer in a second as well.

Is that because you're exhausted after your exertions at the clinic, Trigsworth...?

Went up into the attic, saw a 'gaming chair' which is basically a Corbeau bucket seat with a frame to mount a steering wheel and pedals for use with XBox and PS3, etc. I bought it for 100 quid second hand off a work mate, and it came with the steering wheel, etc. They broke, but thought I sling it on ebay and get 20 quid for it, but managed to sell it for 132 quid, which nearly made me wet myself, was not expecting that, especially as I bought it for 100 quid with all the bits added on. They are 300 quid new though. The bloke only lived up the road as well.

just took my 14 year Mongdeo for it's MOT and it passed with no advisories, that the 2nd year on the trot it has gone straight through.

It was £350 well spent in April 2007.. :D

I don't want it personally but there must be a story why it's still there, Here's the link to it on SV, You can just about make it out still inside.

On Friday the hard drive on my Sky + box decided to cook itself and I had to suffer the weekend with my wife moaning about missing Ugly Betty and Hollyoaks and other shit like that.

Yesterday i spotted this ad on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0668350218 and to my delight i won them for £2, I thought for that price it's worth the gamble.

He's just delivered them to me as all, all for £2 and the first box I've plugged in works fine!, Well chuffed, Though the green light at the front keep circling and the record light it's permanently on :?: Nevermind, I've still got 3 more to chose from if it stops working. :D

Just checked out the link, if you pan slightly to the left, zoom in and look at the cars parked left of the petrol station, you can just make out a White MG Montego, a Red W123 Merc next to it and opposite a Green Merc 190.

My day has been pretty much alright for a change. Went for a job interview today. I originally applied for the job a few months back, then got a call inviting me to the interview but they needed to sort out dates, didnt hear anything for a while so I made plans to go to Belgium for a few days, however the job did get back to me and invited for an interview the day AFTER I was due to go abroad, I tried as one shiter here suggested and suggested that I was available but nothing came of it............

About 2 weeks later I was back here waling home with a box of headrests for a car (Got a few funny stares I tell ya') when I got a call from the company who invited me originally, they said very few people had actually turned up to the interview and that they'd had to reschedual the interview as many people were either on holiday or had jobs to finish.....

Fast forward to today, I thought I was going to be late, computers were playing tricks as I had to reprint another copy of my CV but computers werent plaing ball.

Jumped on the bus, and got there just in time. Interview went well. Took a small test on computer, then had the interview. I decided to be a little more frank about myself and my experiences instead of trying to be the 'perfect candidate'. It was really good an I even managed to have a laugh with the interviewers a few a times, so all good. Should hear by Friday if I've got the job, if not then at least I can take my experiance of a good job interview for next time.

Good luck Lord, actually getting the interview is halfway there, if you think it went well that's great, hope you get it.

Hopefully getting a new job will enable you to get at least one of the Sterlings on the road :)

Not really sure which of the threads this belongs in but I'm in an internet cafe and the guy across from me id quite openly watching hardcore porn

Also due to fire alarms and system crashes I got about an hour at work of being paid to do nothing

^^^ Love it when stuff like that happens. I recently got a 6am callout to a user who couldn't "get in" to his account. Dickhead wasn't even typing in the wrong username, he was CLICKING the wrong username on the login screen. His name "David, username he was clicking "Sharon"

32 miles @ £1 per mile and the minimum 3 hours @ £35/hour. 2 minutes work. :D:D

What's making me smile today is reviving a 1TB external HDD with 800GB of war movies on. Boss is very happy!

I went looking for the chickens that belong to a certain Glaswegian family* for a new bird related avatar.

Thought you might like to see their work.

*Homour that might not work so well south of the border.

Thats the best thing I've seen in weeks................:lol:

Having a fag outside the pub the other night, a bunch of boy racers waiting at the lights. Couple of dreadful chavved up Puntos, and a seemingly bog standard povvo 5 door escort MK3... followed by a white 4 door Mk2, and a smart Sierra Cosworth. It was like the southend cruise circa.1991!

Thanks Maestroman, I really do hope so too, I really do need to get my G-reg Sterling on the road, as.............

Today, me and mate headed up to the Wirral to collect a mk1 Sterling he bought, apart from the initial Insurance problems (See GOM thread) it was a great day out. Travelled up there in a nice Lexus LS400. But the best part was driving this lovely mk1 Rover Sterling back down the Midlands, what a lovely car! it almost felt like new car, it was powerful, fast sounded beautiful performed effortlessly. A really, really nice car. I just wanted to take it home with me (But cant :( ). It was also good to get back behind the wheel of a car (In this country at least, I did drive my dads motor around Brussles). Catching a few old tunes in the car aswell just added to more smiles for miles.

I have a G-reg Sterling sitting in a garage collecting dust and racking up large costs in storage, I really need to get this car fitted with an auto box and out on the road, todays driving has really spurred me on to get my own Sterling sorted.

You know its strange, I've seen my mates mk1 Sterling previously advertised for the past year and never really though much about it, I never once thought I'd actually be behind the wheel of it! (This has actually happend twice aswell)

I bought some little drawers from B&Q and cleaned out the garage. It's so much nicer to work in when it's tidy.
