The Southsea vid has made my evening. Loving seeing what has and hasn't changed in that time, Particular points of note for me, a bus lane at 7:30, didn't realise they existed back then (also, I presently live 1 minute's walk from there!), the moment where almost the first collision was ever captured on a "dashcam", the amount of cars parked and in use, doesn't seem to be too different to now if I'm honest, the numbers of cyclists proving that they aren't a new phenomena on our roads. I moved to Pompey just as the Tricorn was being demolished, so was never able to marvel at it in all its glory.

Bet the whole video set up must have cost a fair whack back then too.

Never mind Cortinas, the streets are awash with Avengers, Allegros and Transits.  Nice to spot the occasional rarity too, like the Simca van early in the video, the Renault 16 and the occasional Datsun.

Learning the fact that a fully charged car battery has the same energy as a sandwich. 😊

Jesus man pack it in. I told myself when I started a new job 8 years ago that 34 mile done trip was way way too far.

I've had an ace birthday. I got treated to a £3.99 eat all you can breakfast by/with my kids, then I spent ages passing my son tools and admiring his SICK MECHANICAL SKILLZ on the 106. Got covered in oil, water and 'mayonnaise' changed the wheel on the Corsa and repeatedly twatted my newly tattooed leg against various objects. I then won £42 on a couple of bets and I think the dog has pissed on my wife's new coat!

Probably last longer than the real thing!

In other news, I've come incredibly close to purchasing an Iveco tonight (2.8TD recovery truck) but the test is about to expire and I'm not brave enough.

I had one of those days yesterday with not an awful lot to do so I got the Playstation 1 game, Gran Turismo 2, running on my tablet and spent a few hours having a massive nostalgia trip. I used to love this game as a kid.

Started off in the way I traditionally have buy buying a Supra Turbo but after a couple of hours was starting to accumulate some proper old white such as a snot green Corsa B and some obscure stuff like a Nissan Sileighty.

Can this be made to happen on an android phone?

Can this be made to happen on an android phone?

I did it on a Tesco Hudl 2 so assuming your phone has roughly equivalent power then I don't see why not. The only issue I get is a slight stuttering in the sound in races when in the middle of the pack or if something pops up from the OS running in the back ground such as if I change the volume.

I'm currently using on screen controls which are a bit fiddly but am seeing if there is a way to use a PS3 controller with it without having a PC to root it.

As always my apprehension misplaced. The BX flew through it's test with no advisories. happiness

That's bloody good that is. Which way around do I connect the terminals? Is one slice positive and the other negative, or is the bread positive and the filling negative? Which is more powerful, cheese and pickle or ham salad?

^ This can only be a good thing.

Two grins today, firstly cancelled the Y10's insurance with Admiral (who I use for the 940, so they put it on a Multicar policy which was the cheapest way I could find to do it).  Refund of £160 - excellent.  New insurance obtained for the Escort through Adrian Flux - £83 for the year fully comp!  I call bargain.

Second grin - getting it insured means it's finally ready to hit the road tomorrow all being well, MOT repairs were finished yesterday and it was being re-tested today so should be collected tomorrow lunchtime.
