That is a brilliant looking place, hope it all goes without too many hitches.

I've had every hitch going! gazundered, planning problems, buyers pulling out, etc.

It should be plain sailing now after contracts are sorted.

Monday I went into the local steel fabricators to order a load of cut steel that will make up a load of Rebel chassis outriggers, I'd got it into my head that there was £50 worth of steel there, just had a phone call to say its only going to be £30 :D Somehow it feels like i've just found £20 that i never knew i had!

Went up to the local animal sanctuary to choose a cat. Annoyingly, the one I'd set my heart on had been reserved about half hour before, but eventually I decided on a lovely grey and white tom called Smoky. He's 13 but in good health, and that suits me as he's very chilled out and I can give him somewhere nice to spend the next few years. Now I just need to think of a name..............

Compare the Market - they've put a guide price/value when you enter a vehicle's reg number to get a quote which I thought was pretty handy.

The stuff I've been checking is all around the price they give as an example so not sure what it's taken from, if you stuck a bit of profit on then it's within £150-£200 etc.

Sweeeet...is that the one with possible OMGHGF!!!

Yes that the one, I think it's caught a chill in the recent cold snap, hopefully it's a easy fix, I know it needs a head gasket, radiator and battery but with only 22000 miles I can't imagine there's much more wrong with it...

Accommodation in Austria and Switzerland now booked for the 2,500-mile blast around the Alps in my Discovery in January.

Total cost each (4 persons) for ferry, fuel & 6 nights' accommodation works out at less than £300 :D

There are times when some banging loud 90's dance music and driving like a twat is needed to let off some steam.

My shift finished at 16.30 only I got a crash call at 16.26 that took until 19.00 to clear up. Cue lots of driving like a twat and interesting sideways action on the works road complex (deserted I assure you).

Sometimes it has to be done.
