I think he's quite cute!!!

Only joking about the buzzards. I'll be releasing him under the cover of some trees near some empty buildings so he / she will probably be fine. The local crows tend to see off the buzzards when they appear anyways!

Then again a nice cosy drawer of a manager's desk may be in order

This has made me grin. Someone spelling "drawer" correctly, not as"draw"!!! :D:D:D

now take this the right way............I'm a vegetarian, peace loving, aanimal loving hippie type...............but, releasing them within 5 mile will only lead to them returning.....better a quick death than sentencing them to die as prey.

^ That's ok! I know about the distance thing so he'll be travelling. And he will have plenty of cover where I'll be releasing him so he's in with a good chance.

Resigning on a whim is great. More people should do it.

They should. Too many people are stuck in jobs they hate because of 'the fear'. I did it years ago, was a bit frightening initially as I didn't really have a plan but it worked out ok I guess.
Theres a certain smug satisfaction when you say to your boss "ive been thinking about our conversation earlier, and I think you can stick your job"Its horrible being stuck in a job you hate or where you are treated badly. Earning stacks of cash isnt that important- being happy is!

Nice one. We did the same one one of our cats started bringing mice home, when we could rescue them before he badly maimed or killed them that is.He was a bugger for that, he'd also climb trees, take baby/young birds out of nest, bite one of their wings so the poor things couldn't fly away before he played with them for a while and than ate them.

MOT pass! No big deal, but I've been trying to find the time, energy, motivation to do a pre test onceover, the weeks pass quickly and I realise I've been driving around for almost a month without. Decided to book it in anyway, fix what it fails on and bear the retest fee and it turns out the poor neglected things in good shape for it's age. (17)

It's a 1992/3. To be honest I've bombed it right out as he wanted a straightener against my 04 plate Vectra, which, as shit as it undoubtably is, is worth shed loads more.Cheers for the info though mucker.

Sunshine. That is all. After the most miserable winter I can remember, it was so pleasurable to spend the afternoon working feeling the actual warmth of the sun on my face. OK, so it's not a skin-cancer-inducing roasting just yet, and it was still fricking brass monkey's when I went out this morning, to be down to 2 t-shirts (rather than 2 t-shirts, wooly pully, massive coat) by knocking off time makes me happy happy joy joy.

Dragged the Audi out of the garage after a couple of months lay up (to avoid the shit road salt dissolving it more than it aready has)The Audi started first time which was great but it drove like a sack of crap, wallowing everywhere and genrally feeling nasty. I started to think that it was actually crapper than I had remembered and started to doubt my decision to MOT it for another year. I felt pretty down as id sunk alot of time and money into it and to be honest it put a real downer on the rest of the day. After a mechanically minded poke about I realised that 15 psi isnt really the best pressure for the tyres so id better blow them upThe Audi driving experience has now improved by a by a factor of 12 and im very happy. Even took the wife and nippa out it it with no tears from either party. Nice cheap result! YAY!!

This will start off as a rant. There is a lady who works in our office who is only there because she is the owners aunt. She is useless at everything, and takes 3 times as long to do simple stuff as we would. The owner knows this, and has even admitted to it, but cannot/will not get rid as she is family. However, she spoke to me yesterday to tell me she is leaving! After 15 years at the company! Woohoo! Don't get me wrong, I don't hate her, but I like my staff to be efficient and accurate and hard working. Which she isn't.so - that made me grin.

Going through my drawers at work and found a picture of my daughter (aged about 2 at the time) from she won a 'best dressed fairy and dancing competition' thing. Now proudly displayed on my locker and making me grin from ear to ear.

This old pic from the Amsterdam archives made me grin, what is up with that front screen?

Nice one! Most of 'my' photos are details from shots on online imagebanks, a lot from the Amsterdam city archives. Lots of zooming, ctrl print scrn, ctrl v, crop in simple picture editor etc...

I'd love one of those calenders....whats TJ Hughes?? A discount shop like Home Bargains?
