Skizzer Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 I highly recommend this guy - George at Soup Classic Motoring - and have become a Patreon supporter. Beautiful films, very informative, good cars, great presenting style. The whole series is excellent. St.Jude, TrabbieRonnie and cort16 2 1

Remspoor Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Just found two images on my PC taken at Barking garage. One h been copied many times so quality is not good and the other has colour caste problems too. I wanted to post them now so not enough time to ix them. LightBulbFun, vonmon, Austat and 1 other 4

I should have done it a long time ago because I also did not like the fact he filmed whilst driving using his hand held phone. I get your point, the cars are right on his channel, but perhaps not the presentation style! Remspoor 1

cort16 Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 This is really a podcast on youtube but it's a 3 1/2 hour interview with Chris Harris geeking out with Nicky Grist about rallying and Colin McRae. Good for blocking out the outside world for a prolonged period of time. St.Jude 1
egg Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Amazing MGB I'd never heard about, note date. Harry's drive is 1km long, so he can still do road tests LightBulbFun and Remspoor 2

I have just ditched another channel. UK based and gave the excuse that collecting a car under the travel ban was OK because he and the wife were the only ones in the car. Never mind the fact that they met the owner, or stopped off along the way. And that it was non essential travel. ? egg 1

St.Jude Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 This was on BBC Four a few weeks ago. Was odd to see my old RE teacher on it. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/tO3_1L59YYc" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> Plus the Spaghetti Junction, there was an appeal to identify the people in the photograph. My Dad was one of them. The funny thing was that years ago he was shown the photo and couldn't pick himself out of it. The only reason he couldn't was because he couldn't remember working on the Spaghetti Junction, and that was down to being blind drunk all the time when it was being built. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HrlEfJ5bn2w" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> P.S: I have absolutely no clue how to embed YouTube videos. mitsisigma01 and vonmon 2

egg Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 I'll admit it took me a while too - I know there was an LE model - which was the run out in 1980, but I still had to google it!

Jerzy Woking Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Once you get over their accents and boundless cheeriness, it's a good series to watch. Like the way they are no fazed by anything and give it a go (not always successfully).

egg Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Doug has it all under control. I know he's a bit marmite on here, but he's got 22 vids in the bank. Good to hear a US 'tuber taking it seriously. Remspoor 1
Austat Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Audio is a bit poor, but an interesting video regardless. Remspoor 1
