I used to look forward to Saturday mornings for the latest video and have been rewatching his older videos instead. He said a while ago he was giving up doing them weekly. Combination of his own poor health, deteriorating eyesight, and the death of his mom, and people moaning at him for not doing more videos. Think he’s got to the point in viewer subscriptions that he can just take it easy. Don’t blame him for it, as when a video does come out it’s always top notch. Remspoor, bunglebus and Heidel_Kakao 3
Heidel_Kakao Posted March 2 Posted March 2 @St.JudeAh right cool makes sense, I wasn't blaming him just got used to a regular weekly upload, he's my favourite retro tech Youtuber with probably This Does Not Compute in second place. St.Jude 1

Yeah same as myself. Maybe check out CalGenStudio (think that’s it), he does in-depth videos on Apricots. The computer, not the fruit. Heidel_Kakao 1
richykitchy Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Conscious that it might be a bit crass to promote your own material, but a mate and I have started a podcast covering anything from new cars to classics and bone-a-fide shite. We even brought an old name back to life to do it! It's on Spotify and the usual places, but on YouTube too: Overbore Podcast Four episodes in, so far. Ep1 - Covered intros, BYDs, Fiestas, Ionic 5N, and turbos that aren't turbos. Recorded in a BX. Ep2 - 40yr MOT exemption, Lamborghini Urine and bit about Noble. Filmed in a Pug 106 Ep3 - TVRs, stupid touchscreens, a BMW 530e and the E39 M5. Filmed in a 530e. Ep4 - Return of the saloon car, Renault Grand Espace, Rover 200 and 800 and toothache, plus Genesis (the band). Filmed in a Genesis G80 (the car). Why am I posting this on here? Because I actually think the good folk of this forum are the people I align with the most, automotively-speaking. I value the thoughts and opinions of you strangers more than most strangers. Anything suggestions/constructive criticism welcomed. Thanks! warren t claim, catsinthewelder, chodweaver and 1 other 4

Tayne Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Found a channel called Classic Cars in Movies which consists of clips of specific cars in films and tv. Being a Dutch channel the clips come from all sots of euro productions that I've never heard of as well as the usual suspects. The source material is a mix of genuine old films, period pieces (both with assorted other cars in the background) and modern productions where a classic car has been added as dressing. https://www.youtube.com/@ClassicCarsinMovies/videos St.Jude, bunglebus, chaseracer and 1 other 2 2

ProgRocker Posted March 22 Posted March 22 This YouTuber is quite entertaining with his dry sense of humour. Features Steve McFadden, dim lighting, a load of bald hard guys, a Ford Zodiac mark 3 and unfortunately a pair of Peugeot 405s getting smashed up. I think there's a white Cavalier too for a second. Plus a lot of double entendres involving the word "Hard" if you like the Carry On style of comedy. Remspoor and Heidel_Kakao 2
Heidel_Kakao Posted March 22 Posted March 22 @ProgRocker I recently discovered that YouTuber and binge watched all his previous videos. If you like his stuff you might also like https://youtube.com/@rosetintedspectrum as they are kind of similar. ProgRocker 1

On the clubman scene quite a few unusual vehicles have had successful careers as well as on the bigger stage the Merc SL & Ferrari 308 were also good then things like the alfarri have been active since the 80's. Didn't actually realise Top Gear was as old as me Remspoor 1
