I’m not adverse to the idea of some sort of swap/ meet halfway arrangement too.

Shitefest 19 had quite an effect on me. The cars; the fellow masochists.

I have swappaged rather than “sold” the Vito for a well known forum car, more of which at the weekend.

Ive also bought a little warm hatch as a runaround. It’s ropey but likeable. collection by bicycle on Sunday. I hope the head gasket lasts the journey back (clue)

So I’m blaming shitefest and it’s attendees for all for this.

Hmm, head gasket, eh - MG ZR 105 or a Corsa something

Ooh, I hope it's a 25 GTi or maybe even a Rover 200 Vi. It's not a BRM is it ?

Or poss a ZS 120 ?

Am I getting 'warm'-er ? (see what I did there)

Nope Nothing as unusual although it’s a rare trim variant as the company folded not long after it was introduced.

I thought It had been barried up, but it turns out it all happened in longbridge!

Vito swap lined up for tomorrow. Must remember the spare front wing in the bedroom (the joys of a single life) and the rest of the colour matched aerosol.

Its been a good van and will be missed by the little lads- “HULK VAN” If you say so George.

I used to drive an almost identical one with a bloody huge cartoon ant and green flag stickers all over it!

Thinking back, it was it’s replacement that had the ant....

The Vito was slightly more subtle.

En route here. Navigator wants a detour to monkey world. It seems to me we are already there.

Ha monkey world. Lovely place. Pity about the lanes you have to drive down to get to it.

Have they started pulling the wipers off and defecating on the roof yet?

That accessory knife from memory has followed it around the forum.

Gloucester Services?

Yes, was quite busy but the Vito was easy to spot apparently!

En route back here with the little lads covered in mud (zoom in on the Vito/bmw pic and you will see them rolling about in mud whilst we sorted the paperwork)

At least the Seats are wipe clean sport leather.

Suggests MG ZR 105 Trophy and its ugly Lexus lights to me.

En route saw a 60’s jag 420 towing a red triumph tr2 on the m5 near Bristol. Memory tells me I think that was Motoring Writer Malcolm McKay on some jaunt or other.

Meanwhile it’s a kebab, not a tr2 that is in the process of being hauled here......
