Are these quirky enough?

Lupo in a garish colour so you get the matching seats. Preferably yellow.

Got 10k spare and fancy a sweet soundtrack? Buy a Triumph GT6.

(On the basis when anyone asks what car they should get they generally get something completely outside of the speciation)

Suzuki ALto Works (HA21 version) ........... main reason I loved my work stay in japan

Charade GTTi was one of the best looney tunes cars I've ever had the fun to blast about in....... albeit temporarily.

I raise your Fiat 126 to a 127 - loved mine. Really did..... miss it bad!

Post-2003 Daihatsu Charade, they seem a bit quirky, their roly poly handling was attacked by the Troy Queefs of modern motoring magazines, OMG NOT NURBURGERING.

I like them, I'm surprised one hasn't been on the collective Autoshite fleet yet.

Forgot about that too - had a TD one, dead comfy, pish steering lock, dreadful location for the tape player.

Toyota Glanza V?

130 bhp in something the size of a shoe is bound to put a smile on your face, although prices are firming up on them nowadays.

Early Renault Twingo, preferably in 'Kermit' green. Weren't these first generation Twingos only available in LHD?

These are brilliant fun, if you can handle the rustz.

Forgot about KAs, I drove one in 1999 on hire around Aberdeenshire. Handled lovely, so I'd imagine a SportKA would be even better.

Twingoes do tick various boxes, too.

They handle as well as a 106 GTi/VTS. The engine is no TU though, its a bit wheezy. I enjoyed the one I owned though.

Had a Puma, The Moog currently has it. Lovely thing it was, but I didn't fit in it too well!

How about a Justy? Still some late 90s ones about if eBay/gumtree are to be believed. Almost always up north too.

Another one I've always liked the look of is this shape of Suzuki Swift.
