1987 Austin Metro 1.0

"I brought it for a run around a couple of months ago and ended up giving it the rat look. Is a 1 litre and has only got 26500ishh on the clock"

"stripped out interior, afraid doesnt come with any seats unless someone can give me a decent offer with the bucket seats in before friday when they go"

Two months ago eh? Looks like you've done a bang-up job of looking after it, it looks really appealing now.

Sorry to drag this one from the archives, but out of morbid curiosity I did an online checky thing on the (sh)at look Metro and apparently E795 JDF is not a Metro but indeed a VW Golf GTi, which was last taxed 6 years ago.

Someone's gonna be in trouble...

Indeed it does. Oh dear! The enquiry is complete The vehicle details for E795 JDF are: Date of Liability 01 11 2003 Date of First Registration 30 09 1987 Year of Manufacture 1987 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1781CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour WHITE Vehicle Type Approval Vehicle Excise Duty Rate for vehicle 6 Months Rate £104.50 12 Months Rate £190.00

Mine too! I went with the ex Mrs P to see one in Doncaster. The lad selling it took her out "for a spin". Literally. He spent the test drive doing donuts on an industrial estate to impress her. She let it be known in no uncertain terms that I was not having it

A good car to buy if you live in Surbiton and your next door neighbours are into their gardening in a big way.

 I forgot all about the Leadbetter's ovlov!

I am no stranger to driving piles of wank dribble. But even I would rather walk or bicycle my lardy arse to work than drive that Corsa.

Hmm. I noticed whilst in Tescos the other day that the cover story on 'Fast Car' magazine was 'is the rat-look dead?'.This could explain why a few more are up for sale lately, as the thickos try to get rid of them for fear of being uncool.

Haha, I see that badly re-painted Marina is still being peddled as a 'special' with side-impact beam doors, though the 'full roll cage' which appeared in the spiel last time seems to have been omitted this time around...

Worst description ever!

It's a salvage yard!It runs and it's got 4 months MOT.DVLA says it's on SORN , so you'd need to insure and tax it.If it were closer and I had the room I'd have it for parts, if nothing else.
