Wollydobbler, what is special about the wiper? And Mb_B, that looks suspiciously like an MMS-sized picture where someone's taken it on their phone and forwarded it on. They come out phone-screen-tiny.

It's got a sort of cantilever device on it. They used to intrigue me too but I've still never seen one wiping.

Same as the Chevette/Chevanne/Kadett of similar vintage. Works quite well if not bent like mine was......requiring a clamber to the top of a scrapyard heap in Devizes to reclaim one for a fiver!

I thought the cantilever would keep the wiper at the same angle relative to the bottom of the screen though, not follow the arm around and end up 180deg inverted. You normally see them where the wiper is completely upright at the edge of the screen, the arm moves it across and it remains upright instead of arcing over.

The Astra wagon is pant-spaffingly wonderful. I would be well chuffed to bowl about in that.

If you'd have got out of bed earlier you could have seen one in the flesh

That Sud Sprint belongs to a mate of mine and it truly is lovely!

Dear god. I'm going to go and matt black my 164, put a bright pink racing stripe up the bonnet, make a bonnet bulge out of an ice cream box and fit three spoke alloys. It'd look much better than that thing!

Ha ha, the exhausts on that 164 look absolutley terrible, what a fudge-ingester. As you say though, nowt that couldnt ve very quickly undone.

How I wish I had the time and money to get this back on the road, it looks so straight!

Raymanboy's got a Spacy!

He's on form again with this one - crap pics, absurd price and endless gibbering about the Japanese. :D

That bloke is completely mental. One thing, I'm surprised he's not appeared more regularly since fleabay changed the listing fees to final value, at least he's not going to be spending anything here....

Hooray for Raymanboy, haven't seen him in a while. Must have got a new bag of mind-alterings and fired up the computr.

I was one such new purchaser I am pleased to say who paid the money and walked proudly off with the mean machine and a guarantee I knew my girlfriend wouldnt need - she had steps for her feet.

polish their Honda's on Sunday mornings before riding them off to Church albeit to the Church of the Zen Bhuddists
