Question: hi is this a converted hurst? A what??

At the risk of an obvious pun, would Hirst be an example of a converted Hurst? :)

just spooted the Croma speak -and feel need to declaring an interest. My Missus' spare car - currently pressed into service cos i blew the Coup, is a 'G' plate 2 litre. Slightly bigger rims and a reasonable aftermarket kit - t'was pennies for a genuine 54,000 miler. Got a few quirks -but generally reliable, reasonably economical -and quick enough....Recommend one -a bit. Good Luck chaps

^^^ LUSH. I know someone with a set of original wheeltrims for that, too

Is that a 124 coupe on the left?

It's more likely to be an Alfa - he's an Alfa specialist. Don't think I've ever seen a 124 coupe in Norwich.
It's a 124 Coop....I just saw it pulling out of Esso Mousehold filling station! 8)

Why do I want the R9 above SOOO badly? I've a feeling that it might fetch a tad more than the £200 I paid for the R11 though! :(

That Scoob wagon is in good nick if the only issues are the '80s Subaru crepe paper wings. Somebody save it before it ends up being trashed on a farm like a lot of them. :(

Strange dullard-spec 5-door Charade Turbo - I didn't know such a thing existed. :?

It did, although it's been a long while since I've seen one. It's not a GTti at all, it's the lower-powered version as found in the old shape Charade Turbo. It's nippy for a 1-litre, but in the real world it's really no quicker than a 1.3 CX. Definitely shite though, and at that money probably worth a punt. In fact my bidding finger is itching...

Yeah, I noticed the 6000rpm redline and figured it wasn't a GTTi engine. What's it worth then, about 70-75bhp? Bet it sounds better than the much more common 1.3 4-cyl anyhoo.

Yup. 1986cc of Swedish pig-iron. It was the only 300-series with a proper engine.
