He's made the effort to fit Mk5 tail-lights at some stage, not seen that done before.

It's got a mk5 front end too as the front indicator lenses are visible from the side. Could his year and description be wrong, or are the photos not of the car he's selling?

I think it's definitely a Mk4 - smaller windows and mirror on the door panel - but as you say he's fitted Mk5 front indicators as well; wonder if he's fitted Mk5 front wings or just cut the Mk4 ones to fit the slope of the indicator at the side?Perhaps he should have expended the effort into keeping it roadworthy instead...
