mouseflakes
I am seriously considering putting the Cortina forward for the scrappage scheme http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C94313/#Knob-end. I hope every last vendor that tries this crappy tactic gets not a single sniff.

Conrad D. Conelrad
Knob-end. I hope every last vendor that tries this crappy tactic gets not a single sniff.Ha. £1k for a fucking Cortina, advertised with decade old photographs, no tax/MOT, and 'needs work'. It's probably a heap.
Mr_Bo11ox
he'll have to MOT it if he's gonna 'scrappage' it. From the effort he's put into his ad, I can't see that happening.

M'coli
He's made the effort to fit Mk5 tail-lights at some stage, not seen that done before. It's got a mk5 front end too as the front indicator lenses are visible from the side. Could his year and description be wrong, or are the photos not of the car he's selling?
r.welfare
I think it's definitely a Mk4 - smaller windows and mirror on the door panel - but as you say he's fitted Mk5 front indicators as well; wonder if he's fitted Mk5 front wings or just cut the Mk4 ones to fit the slope of the indicator at the side?Perhaps he should have expended the effort into keeping it roadworthy instead... Guest
I was unaware of the existence of these things until I decided to see if there was a contrived page 807 link... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2003-PEUGEOT-807_ ... 0202675310 And they've been on the market for at least six years!! News to me. All the same this one seems cheap unless it used to be covered in reflective markings and has been mercilessly clocked.

Guest
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1994-ROVER-METRO- ... mobiles_UK?a car to part-x against a new car for this new scrappage scheme. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Volvo-740-GL-Auto ... mobiles_UK?Although it would be such a shame to do this, the car, in my name, qualifies for the scrappage scheme. I would be prepared to work with someone who is looking to buy a new car under the scheme to use this Volvo to take up this opportunity and save you up to £2,000 or more, depending on certain manufacturer’s offers. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SCRAPPAGE-SCHEME- ... mobiles_UK?I have a selection of cars that qualify for the scrappage scheme that I am prepared to offer for the start price Etc etc etc. How many fall for all these without knowing any of the facts?
