I've seen quite a few of those in the £150-£200k region so they must attract strong money in top condition.

That Allegro estate is indeed lovely - the back end looks much nicer than the more familiar series 2. Slightly Renault 12-ish, actually!

Ive owned 3 of these, and i remember going back 5-6 years when these were readily available with long mot's in straight nick for 500 quid! And cost nowt to maintain as the scrappys were at that time bulging at the seams with mk2 fiestas.

 

Great little things for tooling around in day to day, loads of fun AND more than capable of keeping up with most of the new hot hatches.

/\ Clad in corrugated iron off a garage roof. Then tell everyone who will listen that its a rare original 2CV prototype. Will work best if you take off one headlight.
