Wowah weewah! It's amazing what crops up on eBay - I thought these were completely extinct. I haven't seen one on the road in 13 years.

I now have an irresistible urge to watch the Cannonball Run :)

Did they do a non-XR version of the Mk2 Fly? I recall one in that mid-non-metallic blue common on lower-spec Fiestas, was also on wheeltrims IIRC. I once clipped the corner of it (in my Cherry N10) and the rubber bumper endcap thing fell off

That red one started life as a blue base model... I've also seen a white one, 957cc with the XR bits retro-fitted. Haven't heard of any other examples. The red one was on the bay a couple of times in the last year or so, sorely tempted but I'd seen pics of the inner sills posted on the XR2 forum

I'm sure they made more than 7.....and I'm sure I've seen other models (non XR) as well.

That Thema guy reckons it gets 'CHEAP ROAD TAX', well it might be cheap compared to a new Range Rover Sport or something, but I think its pushing it a bit to call the standard £200/year touch 'cheap tax'.Got some good 'Lancia bore' bo11ox to pad out his ad with as well:

so many people pay so much money for cars that are so much worse that sometimes I wonder why they don't wake up, get rid of their prejudices and get a Lancia! As you will know if you have ever driven one, these are fantastic cars for almost no money - they out-drive and out-handle most cars from the era, are beautifully luxurious and reliable, spacious, well-made and have the legendary Lampredi Fiat/Lancia twin cam engine as fitted (in turbo-charged form) to the Delta Integrale, the car that helped Lancia to their current status as THE MANUFACTURER THAT HAS WON MORE WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIPS THAN ANY OTHER

Steady on old chap, this is a £100 Thema with 210,000 miles and a slippy clutch. Its not a fuggin Stratos!

That 'White Hen' is lovely, will be having a bid on that..Had a chat with the owner, nice chap with several of them.. have pointed him in our direction.

That Thema listing is amazing. "SO F-ING GOOD A CAR THIS IS WITH ITS WRC PEDIGREE THAT I AM LISTING IT IN THE PARTS SECTION BECAUSE I AM INCREDIBLY TIGHT."It out handles all cars from that era too apparently, even a Saab 9000? Surely some mistake?

I'd have a punt on that if it wasn't At t'other end of the country ...That Y10 was at Auto Italia day (I think it was the same one) with a price tag of £995  although it was v nice I have to say

Yes he did say the Y10 was there

WOW!

Does limeflower paint, jazzy wheels and a vinyl top make up for the CRUSHING TEDIUM that a 1275 slushmatic Ital must create.

Judging by that, yes it clearly does... 8)

Nice early biturbo:

the car does run but does need a new battery and does require attention to the head gaskets or an oil seal in one of the turbos...but this is my own opinion and may not be...some pipe work has been removed which will need putting back on before she is fired up again

Now thats what I call an EBAY SHITTER, I have still boshed a cheeky one on it like.

I'm currently winning the Vectra at £1.04. I've a horrible feeling I'm going to get stuck with it.

I think someone with a Hiab who lives near it will solve your problem for you.
