Coming to a white room near you for £3995

You mean, four door handles, front and rear bumpers and four tyres are coming to a white room near you?

Posted

Fantastic.  11K miles!  I'd buy it if I needed a car.

I so wish I had a barn. That'd be straight into it as a reminder of the car I learned to drive in.

Make it easier to find in years to come!

Get it against a white background and stick it on eBay for £5000. £350 sounds a bit cheap, I'd stick it on fleabay, someone might give you a fortune for it.

Honestly, spend a few days cleaning it, get those stickers off, proper machine buff, photos on white background like someone suggested and try for a higher price.  You won't have people falling over themselves to get it due to povo spec but you should be able to get a bit more especially if you've good paperwork for the milage.

Frankly I'd come round give you the cash you're asking and do it myself but its rather a long way!

EDIT: £62.99 for a flight from Norwich to Manchester. This needs more thought.

My ex did this will the massive file of invoices we had on her (now my) Disco 3.  She still has a massive pile of "Women's Fitness" mags though so that's alright.

A friend of mine purchased an almost identical car from an old man in London, same story, mega clean and low miles. He fitted a full SRi interior, lowered it, factory rear lip spoiler, some nice white alloys and cleaned the bejesus out of it. He sold it for £1500.

Had all of my savings not been spent on a completely unsuccessful top end rebuild on my Corsa, I would already be in the train down to Bolton, buy this and have swapped all of the bits on mine into this one to create an identical car to the one I noted above.

No help to you sir but I thought I would register my appreciation.

Man that's fantastic. Like dollywobbler this is pretty much the same car I learnt to drive in, only my instructor had opted for the 1.7 n/a dizzler.

Wish I had funds / space / time
