I can't believe I'm reading it.

I think £230 would secure it, which in all honesty is too much money because it's bloody horrible. It's just that the engine might be useful for me as a spare or to put in the Berlingo and I could try and see if the wiper motor would fit said van too, and even possibly the alloys.

Jesus wept....

Tears of joy?

I've seen plenty of Berlingos with those wheels, so yes.

Also, XUD turbo Berlingo? You know you want to. It's almost becoming fashionable round here...

£230 is far too much so it's now...

£200. Trusted 'shiters can leave a small deposit, take it away and pay when they have the rest next month or something.

Why wasn't this for sale when I needed an engine donor? Pah.

Put the engine in the Berlingo pls, you know you want to.

ERIC BANTONA aside, £200 can take it. I've just taxed the bastard on line too, V5 will be coming back in my name. But yeah, £200 buys it.

I'm almost tempted to buy that and nurse it back to health.

Only almost though.

BUMPERS LANE: UNEXPECTED DRIFT

Talking of which, there used to be a scrappy down there.

Screw the lucas pump, I'd still shove the engine in my van. Scary thing is I'm in Macclesfield tomorrow with a towing dolly and coming back unladen. Don't fancy the 306 on a dolly behind the c15 though!

Posted

The fun you would, and I'm not that far from Macc either.

Until someone allegedly* crushed a car with its battery still fitted, causing a fire that spread to the badly placed stack of tyres, and thus engulfed tbe Sealand I dustrial Estate with copious amounts of smoke.

*this was tbe rumour I heard when I worked on Bumpers Lane.

I know you aren't. And I've also been talking to myself a lot about an xud conversion. More so since kia has gone and space on the driveway

I know, and it cost me a night's work at the auctions behind it.

Bub: come and buy the bloody thing!

I think there's probably a good tenner's worth of diesel in it Bub, so syphon that out when you're home and you've got it back for nothing.
