So, so sorry. That's just a big pile of pain. My condolences

That is truly devastating. Not that there is much that can be done to make this any better but give us a shout if you need anything.

heartbreaking them  pics!!

...a chap I bought a car from, over a year ago, but was 'very tardy' about picking up- had this happen to him at Halloween just gone; local youff 'Headerz' had been on the sauce, n lit fireworks, n his haybarn went up; shed next door was full of a dozen cars motorbikes n a big sandblasting cabinet - took 10 fire engines to extinguish the blaze...

...of course yours truly landed 3 days after the fire, trailor in tow round 7pm, not knowing what had happened- I didn't know what to say.... his patience was well frayed that evening so I went home empty handed n returned 2 weeks later again to pick up the car, n he was in slightly better mood - hed had the whole burnt remains bulldozed, cars in the scrap bin, to try to get over the whole ordeal quickly before getting 'really bitter', he said...

I'm just grateful no-one I cared about was in it at the time.

Jesus thats terrible.

Some scrotes set fire to my old pug 206 on my mums drive years ago, lit an estate agents sign and lent it against the back wheel. Took the car, front of the garage, stepdads car and almost next doors house out. We woke up and got out just as the fire caught my stepdads car, next door and myself kicked the fence down so we could get out and through their house, saw the inside of the Zafira suddenly go black and then on fire, luckily both cars were diesel.

Still, not all bad, stepdad said he trashed through a puddle 2 days before and the engine light came on, now he no longer had to tell anyone about that...

It fucking stank for weeks, my car wasn't insured as it was broken and sorned, I phoned a pikey out of the paper to drag it away, house insurance scraped the drive, fixed the garage and we moved on eventually, still find charred shit under the gravel though.

Id been out on the piss as often was back then, reckon I got home not long before it happened (3.26am), when I woke to my mums screaming my car wasn't fully alight, the alarm went off then melted as we got down the stairs.

I am sorry for your loss, poor cx and everything else

That's a lot worse than I thought. So sorry that this has happened to you

I'm so sorry you must be heartbroken, there's no justice in the world as if this kind of thing happens then why doesn't it happen to a Renault dealer forecourt.

Sorry to hear this grim news. I'm with Mercrocker on this one - it's obviously great no ones been hurt, but I'd personally be massively wounded that I'd lost my car(s). Hope it all works out.

Horrible. That must be heartbreaking and I really don't know what to say.

That really is shocking seeing those pictures and makes me feel really stupid for making daft jokes about it.

Sorry for your losses, all the best.

As 320Touring says, 4 new spaces on the fleet.

Onwards and upwards bud.

What's done is done and can't be undone. Fresh start for a new year.

OK let's turn this about a bit..

In an attempt to solve the biggest losses that were suffered I'd be interested in replacing the mk1 golf cab and my mate's AJS..

I'll need to mine more bike details off my mate but as a start could the collective might of the autoshites identify suitable mk1 golf cab replacements?

pref gti and blue, with MOT and a waterproof hood (due to loss of indoor storage) budget £1500ish

Big ask I ken!
