Its great to see people literally queuing up to drive this SuperMiniRover.

This is mightily tempting, but the clutch concerns me. I might not make it back to my home in the Welsh hills.

EDIT - I have actually driven a City Rover. If you ignore the comedy-cheap interior, they're really not actually that bad. I still knocked back one for £250 the other year though...

Cheers for the offer Tayne, but I couldnt impose.

Random number Roffle. £3.50 a ticket. Seller gets his £99. Winner (looser) also gets £100. But has to use this to successfully (and hilariously) get the car back on its own steam, whilst all the way sending live updates for our pleasure and amusement.

Yeah, but so far the only offers to buy were Cavcraft (who will have sold it on within 3 minutes) and Womble (for his son)

Everyone wants to drive it, cruicially nobody wants to own it.

As someone who may have just bought a 25, I might get my nuts roasted if I now buy this, though at £99 Im still giving it very serious thought.

Where is Knockhill?

We need an Autoshite PCP for this most modern of Rovers.

Hmm I am busy trying to work out a southern collection and could collect this from Edinburgh if that's any help.

I'm always up for a bit of a relay

Can more money be used if needed? Or is the £100 it like some top gear challenge?

+5 for the idea though

You have a strange atlas Mr Moog.

Just showed this James, and I said " I could take it to your college and you could do the clutch" ( he goes to this place...)

His reaction "WTF is that? A City Rover? James May hates them I'd rather sandpaper my scrote smooth with a power sander"

This has kind of steeled me to get the ungrateful berk something truly awful and make him drive it.

When I were a lad I'd have been chuffed to bits if someone bought me a car.

Oh, I still want to buy it, don't worry about that. I just wouldn't let someone go through the agony of driving the bastarding thing back.

It says on FB that Wobbler is having this?

It doesn't, but that assumption seems to have been made. I didn't word that well... I just don't have time to make the trip at the moment.

That just leaves me with an awful car on the drive. The getting-it-home is the fun bit!

If he's so enamoured with James Mays opine then perhaps you better buy him a 10 year old panda (preferably the 1100cc version) in pale blue with yellow seats and elephant grey plastics, just what every young man dreams of*

I blame the gits he goes to college with who seem to think that unless you have a Corsa, Audi or BMW then your parents are punishing you for something.

Christ on a bike, I had to work my arse off to run a car at his age. I didnt give a shite what I drove as long as it had seats and an engine.
