2 to do this weekend - today's collection is for me, Monday's is to pick up a new car for my old man.

I also have a car to deliver to somebody too.

Off to Glasgow today, down to Somerset on Monday (via London).

ETA today is 11.25am, I'm currently on the local rickety service from Redcar to Newcastle. Got to love the fantastic views of Teesside...

Level 5 black belt collectioneerer. I'm having problems mustering up enough energy to go to the kitchen and collect some coco pops.

Bloody hell John, how many has the fleet increased by during this "reduction" phase? I'm having trouble keeping track.

Just call him Mr Collection!!

I'm operating a one in one out rule at the moment.

Senator out, 530i in

730i out, Ignis in (briefly)

Etc

Newcastle just about achieved. I feel like shit so have a feeling this is going to be a long day.

Hopefully the car won't break spectacularly (I'm a bit nervous that it might) and should at the very least serve as Shitefest transport before it needs a fettle.

Just departing Newcastle, Edinburgh bound...

The usual suspects at Newcastle didn't turn up anything of interest so I ended up having breakfast in a 'healthy' food place - all this vegetarian, vegan and gluten free organic malarkey.

Now for somebody who drinks real ale like its tap water and survives on greasy takeaways and 'ping ping' meals this was a bit of a shock. I'm still not sure what the fuck was in the wrap, although it did resemble scrambled egg.

At least with a greasy sausage butty you KNOW you're eating blended arseholes mixed with other stuff...

When I was in LA I got dragged to a vegan café in Venice Beach called Café Gratitude.  I have no idea what was in the food they served either - it was quite nice, but hideously expensive given that it was all made out of vegetables.  I think it was something like $25 for a wrap and a salad.

If you want another 730i Im sure I can help you out.

So what's today's collection or is it top secret,

Tell me about 730i!

Not secret as such as it was on the eBay thread and I posted that I had bought it...

Yeah I think the steels will stay as I don't think they look too bad. I'm told they have good tyres on so its a no brainer.

I offered £500 and it was accepted so touch wood she's a good old bus and I shouldn't lose out come the time to move her on.

I shall post up about it when I get some time, its an L plater and the lady owner has had it since 94.

I have trouble keeping up with the tat thread at the moment as it seems a lot more active these days.

That wrap looks like chewing on cardboard mate

I will be honest, the eBay pics flatter it slightly.

That aside I'm glad I bought it. She drives well!

She's not too shabby. She needs a couple of quid throwing at her though.

I will do a bit of a write up after tea.

With all these French motors filling the forum (Citroens and Gooners), perhaps the board should be named La voitures de merde

Perhaps all these Frenchies are merely "Un éclair dans la casserole"?

What time are you passing by?

You can't argue at that price. Essex supplied? I had a UHJ & XHJ on a pair of Helix supplied Citroen AX's.
