MarvinsMom Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 there was I think a very VERY similar program on itv quiet recently (ok that cold in fact be at time in the last 10 years) that had some hapless shmo "buying" a car with the "help" of the penny Mallory woman and some fat bloke. it wasn't "hold oucha haaaand" brewer fella but someone else. and these punters seemed always to get badgered into some friggin' expensive thing mainly cos I suppose it was an telly, and they didn't want to look cheap. it was utter, utter crap.....
flat4alfa Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Is 'some fat bloke' Jason Dawe out of series 1 Top Gear?
mercedade Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Flippin brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!! That took me right back to my Max Power reading days and how much I would have KILLED for a momo steering wheel and M3-style door mirrors to put on my dad's 405. It's hard to put into words how pleased I was when my parents bought a Daewoo Espero because then I could tell everyone that our car had "5 spoke alloys". When the car was back home I pretty much exploded when I realised that the back wheels had YOKOHAMA tyres on them. The Moog, robinmasters and vulgalour 3

fatharris Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Jesus, both of those videos were dreadful, I only assume they hired Coogan because they could save money on antennae and broadcast directly from his ears?As for ScottyKilmer, what the hell is he always laughing st? I genuinely thought it was a spoof channel at first, but no, there's hundreds of videos! That's a long way to go for an elaborate prank. Lacquer Peel and saucedoctor 2
Lord Sterling Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 ABSOLUTE LOLz Man, I remember these kinds of shows, always appearing on Bravo at 10pm or 12 or whatever. Very of its time, curtains floppy hair styles, pressed jeans and puffa jackets, takes me back to my yoof days in the late 90s when I was rocking this style and reading Max Power/Fast Car* LOLz. The Pug chap yapping about tinted WINDAZ had the plate "LOS7" which is now living on a 2004 Land-Rover Freelander TD4. The Corsa reminds me of Feckless_Cuz_Sterling. A man of heavy Rock music (and an accomplished electric guitar player) but yet very into chav car modifications, ya know, all plastic bodykit but nowt more engine-wise than a cheapo induction kit. He is also a Vauxhall apologist (yeah yeah, I know...) he'd love that Corsa and would happily rock it today. Oddly enough, as with everything I the motoring world going a bit odd, he has ended up with a chavved_up late Mk1 Ford Focus 3-door complete with plastic bodykit attached and oversized wheels. * Oddly enough, as a teen I also sometimes read a BMW magazine or some description, funny how I'd finally end up with one.
Conrad D. Conelrad Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 I recommend the "Bad Boys" segment of episode 12. I walked over and the production crew promised me - Mr Fat stumpy bloke would not do it again, so.....stood and watched the re -take and Penny Mallory did a quick 10 second view of her sitting inside mah car....Ohhhhh..... I'm sure the surname he is lumbered with and has emblazoned on the side windows had nothing to do with that.

Maybe the bonnet and back seat were the bedroom extension. I did that once. Might get back into it too. At least the doughnut picked a British-built and developed motor to go along with his sticker regime and psyche... from Dunton SVO, not from Merkenich SVO or some other foreign land example emblazoned with crusader crosses like a 200SX I saw recently. And a Mondeo. I wondered how he's getting on. He might be plenty wealthier than me these days and therefore I am doughnut!

Was Brendan Coogan in another crap motoring programme? There was a run of bad motoring television in the late 1990s and early 2000s, no one remembers the crap Scottish motoring show 'Wheel Nuts' with Kaye Adams, which is largely absent from the internet apart from an IMDB stub and this stock image. Bloody hell I thought I could help you there as Wheel Nuts rang a bell. I knew I'd got a 1990's video of that name so I raided the archives and found it....but it's a different one, probably just as shit/shite. The question is does my old VHS player still work and am I brave enough to watch it ? Formula Autos, Rusty_Rocket, The Moog and 3 others 6
