Bad bits: Fuel gauge likes to tell long meandering stories that often contain sections that contradict earlier assertations. Needs a new sender.

There is a non perfect paint match on the leading section of bonnet. Visible in pic.

I was driving in heavy rain recently and the car started kangerooing badly. Next day was dry and it drove fine. Suspect moisture in dizzy cap. Its right at the front of the large roomy engine bay and there's no undertray. There is a plastic cover over the dizzy, but its got a few snapped clips and its not a great design. Probably needs a condom or rubber glove stretched over the lot. Or something.

Car is located in North East England - NE34.

Price is £750 for a shitter.

Trigger was a previous owner and as I understand it, did all the work mentioned above.

Its not perfect, but its very good.

I was expecting a 1 before that price  , thats a steal but I'm skint sadly

It owes me a faasand pahnd.  As ever, I could do with a fast sale because theres something else I want.  The price reflects the situation.  I'd want more £ from a park ranger.

If you can park it at yours then yes.

Its one of those "park anywhere" cars that they used to make, so it'll go anywhere.  Youre welcome to buy it and park it here.  I'll even drive it too if that helps any?

Posted

To be honest I think you underselling the car, it's worth much more than your asking.

Agreed.  If theres no fast interest here, it'll be advertised to a wider audience, at a more "ford market" value.

I'm in a bad mood atm so am probably not selling the car well.

Its a rust free rear wheel drive Ford with a great interior, an uncracked dash, that runs, drives, stops and has loads of MOT.

Theyre hard to buy at twice the price.

That is pleasingly crap, i remember the days when those were scarily modern and jelly-mould like etc and so forth :-D

I don't want it as i seem to be obsessed with Korean shite now, which is at least the sort of thing my parents approve of :-P

Please don't put it on retro rides - it wil be omgdriftkaos to death assuming you are looking for a swap - probably BMW with HGF or SAAB that has been to the asteroid belt.

I might just have this back.

That's the second old car of mine I've thought about buying back just this week.

Did somebody say fleet reduction ??

TBH, I'm considering it too, and I already have one mercury grey sierra.

None of us need rely on old cars for that to happen. It does help though.

White Sierras are the best though. You know this.

I remember JohnK buying this recently, but when did I blink and miss him selling it to Shitpeaz? Anyway that is very very nice and in one of the best Ford colours from that era.

I agree. Much cheapness.

I would rather lie on the floor on my back, with my legs up a wall in the corner of a room, and try and piss into my own eyes all day thanks.

Cash welcome though.

I like the way you put that it's in the NE under the bad bits

Its bad if youre from from warm wet Cornwarl anyway.  Nice day out though.

Rule 14.  Never blink.

I agree too.  Its still seemingly very hard to sell a great car to people who all think that its worth a lot more.

No pics of it smoking its bollocks off so I call PH custard and say you've photoshopped that CVH* on there in place of the Pinto to for extra Autoshyte points.

Have you tried claiming back for your peepee eye?

Had to try. I am considering straight cash though because BARG.

I'm so glad I've not got £750 at my hip at the moment. Or my wife would go Rupert when she found out the money I said I'd spend on a sofa, I'd 'invested' in a Sierra.

I had one just like this years ago, sold it in 2006 for £30 and a case of Stella. As people have said you could get an easy £1200 on fleabay.
