chaseracer Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 I'm still wondering what the people waiting at bus stops must have thought when they saw this approaching. Mostly, they ran away...! davidfowler2000 and purplebargeken 2

ruffgeezer Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Ooooh, the jump leads are mine! We used them on the Jcb. My rear ashtray may be there somewhere too, we used it on the Friday so as not to throw ends on the field. Neither are urgent to return, so if you find a use for them, crack on! The leads came from inside the meriva when we bought it so have no sentimental value. Failing that I'm happy to meet Mrs cylinder somewhere to collect I found an ashtray on the ground, I think that went in Bub's box of tat. beko1987 1

davidfowler2000 Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Dave, Well done on passing out. Presume route learning starts now. What routes will you be covering ? You do your route learning with your driving instructor. The lines I cover are Gourock, Wemyss Bay, Largs, Ardrossan Harbour, Ayr, Neilston, Newton and the Cathcart Circle. As well as Shields and Corkerhill depots. I've already done a Newton on my own as well as empty coaching stock from Corkerhill to Shields. There are wires down to Milton Keynes! Not got that on my route card unfortunately. See above. Incidentally...how hard would it be to get Chinnor - Princes Risburgh added to my route card so I can come down again and have a shot? Lol. purplebargeken, chaseracer, andrew e and 2 others 5

wuvvum Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Here's a picture of my bargain £3-from-the-C&PRR-shop Hornby Dublo restaurant car, hooked up to a shonky Airfix Class 31 (fitting I thought as C&PRR has a full-size Class 31 they're currently doing up, and we got a tour of the (bloody cramped) engine room). beko1987 Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Here's a picture of my car at work yesterday It lasted until about 11.45 when the facilities manager came over to my desk and asked me to remove the sticker with the offensive word on it, humourless prick. Its a bit cleaner now too after it rained heavily (not as heavily as post roffle Saturday though) which is a shame! Im glad everyone enjoyed the videos, sorry the roffle couldn't be streamed lives the signal was poor anyway, and the storm knocked it right out. It was filmed though, will or Joe's go Pro or summat, DW held it. Moog, your home brew is fucking lovely too, myself, Mrs DW, Mrs JohnK and others got it gone! JohnK Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 I got very strange looks razzing this into work today in a shirt and tie. I even managed a precarious handbrake turn around the car park to signal my arrival, just in case the car didn't stand out enough in that sea of white X1's and black 3-series. 17-Coffees Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 I watched a few of the yootoob videos of cars trying to leave the field, and I've gotta say, the Lexus sounds fantastic. I know it's not cricket, but there'd have been a part of me wanting to plant my right foot on the way out, just to hear it roar... It was tempting, but I had a feeling that if i did that I'd have to change my address to "The Lexus stuck in a field" afterwords... That said, I took a bad video of it a few months ago going up the rev's a little big while on the move. -On an interesting note, I managed to make it all the way back to Aberdeen on one tank of fuel! That included a few high speed sections doing the speed limit the whole time as well as traffic. Treated her to a full tank of Sainsburys super unleaded . I also got the car cleaned today by a mate who does detailing and such. He diddent seem too impressed when I handed him the car, front end with a massacre of bugs on the front and mud down the sides, back and tyres. And the inside clarted in mud and grass. beko1987 Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Jaypee/Neil, is the BM back home yet? Utter bollocks way to end the weekend, and sorry I had to rush off like that, proper ear bashing from Amy as I said I was on my way home whislt we were gingerly driving down the lane, then 2 hours later I still wasnt! Will - The veg is gr9 too, I'll pony up with you PDQ with that, and Six, if you want the 20l gone from the field I'll come grab it, or help you pour it into any of your veg friendly cars. I managed to put a pin hole in one of the bottles though, and emptied the car on sunday night to a rear footwell full of veg, what a waste! Vacced it out with the shite aquamaster which is now a bit fucked, and need to work out how to get the oily smeg out of the rear carpet too, but that can wait. 320touring 1
beko1987 Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 This also appeared on my youtube, which seems to have worked despite telling me it didnt
