Dumped cars in your area

Just had a look on Google Earth and I can see those cars, how crazy! How did you even notice them, there's nothing visible from the road on Streetview?

I walk the dogs a lot around that area and you get to notice things in winter/autumn. If you walk the ridgeway from watlington you come across an abandoned house on the right only visible around now, and as I posted in the past a Ford Anglia in the middle of the woods. I’ll try and get the drone up, as another spot on the old Thame road is a collection of Volvos!

Oh how interesting, do you have any idea what era cars are on that farm? It would make an interesting trip!

It does fascinate me how much cool stuff there is out there waiting to be found, I go past that house with the Volvos semi-frequently and my Dad is very eager to stop and have a look.

Where can I find this picture of the Anglia?

Recently spotted these on a walk, as previously mentioned I think the time of year has revealed these Coventry cats as foliage has died back. No Idea how long they’ve been there.

Looks like this poor MG6 will be heading back to China in the New Year, in little pieces!

I know for a fact this car belongs to the end house in the last picture. It's sat here unmoved since around Sept. Even if it has packed in they could of just rolled it onto there driveway!

I'm assuming some sort of terminal borkage. Still bizarre though, to allow it to be clamped ready for removal when your driveway is a stone's throw away.

That reminds me of the lesser-spotted sister - the MG 6 Magnette. I wonder if there are any left at all?

This one's near my friend's house - apparently in the garage is a Mini bought new and put away with next to no mileage on it

Walked past this pair again the other day. The one on the right has been untaxed since 1994, so I imagine the other has been sitting for a similar length of time.

Yea, but he's made a start on the garage to restore them in.

A few spots I've seen over the last few months:

One thing I didn't mention (I'd forgot) was that in front of this Corsa van was an equally forgotten about R230 Mercedes SL500. It was recently for sale on Facebook Marketplace but ad since seems to have disappeared:

So, me and the Mrs recently moved and this Micra is parked right outside. It’s SORN with no MOT. It has a blue badge in the window which expired in 2023. I could have the completely wrong idea here but before the Mrs and I moved here our ground floor flat. It used to have a wet room and red pull cords etc. Could it be owned by the previous occupier who could have possibly passed away? The MOT expired in July 2024. If I am correct would there by any way I could possibly save this little nugget?

It does sound like a possibility, does the blue badge have a name & address you can see, if not have you asked other folk nearby or neighbours?

This Audi has been parked up in a local car park for a bit, its been untaxed for over a year, i'm surprised it hasn't been towed.

Our neighbours are very quiet people. We never see the ones upstairs and the next door neighbour hardly comes out

As been said your neighbours will have all the answers you're looking for. Quite possibly the owner has gone into hospital or long term care.

Not sure if this will come out ok on here, taken on my phone and the car is a long way from the road. Located south of Abergele, I go past this place for work occasionally and I always wanted a photo and finally got one.

Stolen all of these photos from my mate but they’re all within a one mile radius of my flat (the green 106 is literally at the end of the street)

That Saab has been sitting since 1999 at least. I remember walking past it when I was in year 1 and I thought it was cool even then.

Still looks hawt even as an abandoned shitter. Always liked the look of them, although the  coupe is definitely the prettiest.

Edit: tax ran out in May 2023 yet last v5 issued January 2025 - just four days ago. Free storage...

Never really occurs to me, see them so often I forget they’re quite uncommon! The Carltons have been sat about the same length of time as the Saab

That’s parked up near me. Under a 🌳

it is FILTHY!

Here it is on google maps - it didn't look this bad last year, that white stuff is a repair job it looks like. That tree has been dropping an immense amount of sap!
It is still a relatively new car - it's last MOT was when it was only five years old in 2022.

I took this when I visited you some time back when I had the 407 still (this was during the time I'd been suspended from work!)

I took these MANY years ago, probably about 2012~ish or there abouts. The cars were clearer to see then.

I reckon it'll disappear as soon as the "new owner" gets the V5.....

The Carltons have really started to fall apart the last few years. They’ve been sat since the late 90s/early 00s too but the owner used to wash them etc to keep them nice, sadly I think he’s a bit too old now.
