Well, due to unpresidented demand, it will be put up for sale elsewhere and lost from the forum. Oh well.

GOOD LUCK ON FUTURE LIFE BX.

Ooof. How did I miss this.

Is the raffle actually a go-er at £11 a ticket?

I'd be game for a couple if so, and counting up the number on the last page you can't be far off complete...

Posted

Raffle was called off after everyone wandered off and slavered over a 75 or a vacuum or something else so I equally can't be arsed to start that again.

You want it? Come and cross my palms with paper. If you want it for £11 then go and buy a model one.

I keep staring at this.

Which is probably ill advised.

How much might a reasonable offer actually be?

Seriously though, that looks like a bargain.

I might have gained its replacement. Talk about counting chickens...

I really have gained its replacement so it seems. It really needs to go now before the wife kills me to death.

£400

Quick, swap my Merc for the CX, you can hide the BX in the boot of the Merc.

Happy to help...

Someone buy it, Mrs Egg has completely vetoed this (showing her the pictures today didn't help). So I'm pissed off of Kent here. Insurance is bloody cheap for social only use as well. I know, grow some etc etc.

If someone in Kent buys it I'll be happy to share some costs and be named on your insurance for occasional weekend use   ;-)

Does come ready veg enabled, spares including the shitefest 14 drivers door, spare dash and a 5 volume bx workshop manual.

Come on, help a shiter escape much killing from the wife!

Anyone know ballpark what rear arse bearings book time is?

Probably the same as the 305...

Anyone know ballpark what rear arse bearings book time is?

About £140 a side last time I had it done I think. Easier than a 305 because you can remove the tension from the suspension by merely moving a lever.

Rear arm bearings are not at creaky stage anyway. It's a job that will need to be done at some stage but not OMGDANGERIMMINENTDIZASTER.

I've mentioned that they will need to be done one day, so it been taken by some that they're well fucked. Wrong end of the stick gotten there.

Aye. When I got the Green Tiger, one side was absolutely shot. Seriously, seriously creaky. That's when they need changing. I drove it 3000 miles around France before getting them done.

Someone needs to buy this BX before the Daily Mail starts the blame game.

"Immigrants turning up in waves, taking all our jobs/benefits/houses due to unsold car..."

Just buy it.

I cant buy it.

Signed.

Angry of somewhere.

I have done many miles in this car.  The rear bearings are fine.

Get it bought, shiters!

(SCOTT BLYTHE!  YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT!)

The car does appeal but the only way I could possibly do it would be at 100 pcm which is likely no fecking use to you whatsoever.

Did I say it wasn't?

It not really about the money ( but obviously I can't just give it away either) it more I just don't have the room anymore. Especially as I've just bought another green bloodied Citroen.
