With the ex-wobbler Disco as Ms C's weapon of choice.

Though I drive plenty of moderns at the van hire.

Daily for 10 years/140k miles (233k total) up until last December (when the picture was taken) was this:

Current daily is the Kangoo:

Only failing in 13k (now at 68k) miles has been an ABS sensor @ £20. But now I'm doing more miles alone in the car (Lana is not too keen on the BX) I'm tempted to swap back again...maybe use the Kangoo through the salty season though.

Now 20 months old and has 26.5k on the clock.

Bought it as a new car after 15 years of being sensible with the Laguna and V40.

Intend to keep it till it dies and hope to see 200,000 miles out of it.

I have used the Puma for the full 300 miles a week of commuting though at times.

Not as clean as it looks in photo's due to someone twatting the front bumper and doing a runner, and a bin lorry deciding the rear arches wanted to be a bit narrower, but it was cheap, has a V6, purrs down the motorway like a kitten. Bit sluggish on the handling front for my liking but you can throw it around and it'll play:

My collection of chod* is currently languishing in a leaky barn in East Yorkshire, so while I'm living and working down south I bought myself a modern daily. It is 15 years old, but it's modern in that it always starts, isn't manky, has all the toys & has <60k miles on it. I honestly couldn't aske for a car to do anything better than this does:

*Now a small pile of rust, probably.

My personal Irish commercial favourite is the Xsara coupe with panelled rear side windows.

Ms_Chegg lives in Dublin, and her daughter's tooling around in a 2011 Megane Coupe "van"...Never seen one over here.

By my reckoning, I think this makes the Rover 75 the DAILY OF CHOICE for Autoshite executives.

Is that your advert on ebay selling a 66 coupe at the moment?

Commutes 60 miles or so a day. No issues so far having put 5k on it in 5 or so months.

Does what I need it to do :)

Those wheels are just about the best ever from Rover. Twinned with that colour - lovely.

I hate those wheels, they look like they've got loose threads that need snipping off.  Nice car though, just not really a fan of most 75 wheels.

My daily is my 1976 Rover P6B.

Yes a 39-year-old V8.

And it has been since 1985.

Although I've lost the keys somewhere last week and it's been collecting notes from the local authority requesting it be shifted by tomorrow for street cleaning. I think It might collect some dog shit under its Marina handles.

Since this photo was taken five years ago, it has gained about 75000 miles, countless dents & scratches, and Halfords wheel trims for added shite points.

Marvellous old bus.

I really want to try a variomatic at some point. Lack of finances is stopping me bidding at the moment on that coupe

Minus 20,000 autoshite points for me on the daily front...post-18217-0-78858200-1446996001_thumb.jpg

Just glad it wasn't the first modern beemer!!

It's a damn good car tho if I'm being honest. And at 32000 miles and not yet even two years old... Should've got the diesel!! But plan to probably try and shift it on in favour of some bangernomics action in the spring (git to get through the slidey winter first)

It even fits in the garage... Not that it ever goes on there, that's where the Mazda lives

post-18217-0-41808600-1446997438_thumb.jpg

But the fact that these are the only two photos I have if this car shows you how uninteresting it is to me!!
