Deals wheels & steels TV shite

Recommended Posts

I watched the first episode of this a few weeks ago? and it was such gash I promptly forgot all about it. Second yin is on tonight on ITV at 11:05pm.

It would be far more entertaining if they just followed a few of the most prolific shite buyers from on 'ere.

If Vauxhall made TV shows this would be it.

It really is tosh but quite amusing with it. A focus with rusty sills, well there's a surprise. Would he really get £200 for it from the scrap man though?

Stumbled across this earlier, not a terrible show but enough with the "old aht yur and" mockney accents.

Neither, clearly, did the 'buyers'

It was on silently in the pub where I'm working away (Newport) and from what I could tell while trying to ignore it was people trying to be Mike Brewer. Fuck that

They seem to be buying some right shit for being pros. That Focus is a mega schoolboy error.

Watched the second one first then tried to watch the first one and it got half way through then just showed a blank screen. Thanks ITV player, crappy adverts still showing OK of course!

Even if it's filmed when scrap was quite hight there is absolutely 100% no way that scrap fella would have bartered like that or up to that amount.

I also think the bloke buying the taxi wouldn't have given in and offered the asking price of £1800 quite so easily!

I'd love to see a proper version of this staring gumtree weirod, the chap who used to sell 200 cars a month etc

Autoshite tv would be ace

I cringed when he said "old yer aaahhhnnnd out" when agreeing to pay the 1800

The price for the graft on the sills seems suspiciously cheap too, £150 and it's not worth doing?

Do people really pay £1000 for a pogweasel pink Coarser with 120k on the clock?

Posted

Its utter cobblers - the trouble with TV like this is some people will watch it and think its real and that a 1999 Micra needing £500 worth of welding really is worth £250 because its only done 67000 miles.

oh, hang on.....

Wouldn't surprise me if the fatty is related to Brewer. Yet another shite so called car tv prog that is more fake than a VW emissions test

'Well built' 'reliable' 'can't go wrong' 'best medium van you can get'

On a f*ck*ng 2001 Merc Vito. The same one that daft bint win and didn't see the bald tyres, cracked screen and Tippaxed over the rust paintwork.

Can't see past the badge fuds.

I was half-watching it because ITV was on at Ms. Peel's mum's house earlier. Awful shit for cunts.

Posted

Also 'I checked the last MOT so I know the mileage is genuine' on that Zafira laughing valued by the commentator

Posted

The guy who bought that Zafira look disgusted at himself for buying it.

It's total shite but it's better than sitting contemplating my hopelessly diminishing role in an ever expanding universe.

Just.

And one quick phonecall to a garage that serviced a Mazda RX8 increases it's value by 700 quid, to a bloke from Sheffield who has, out of work actor pretending to be buyer written all over him, seriously, I mean seriously????

Prefer American Storage Hunters myself. At least that makes no bones about being theatrical and tosh.

Nice looking lady on it, no way was any of it real, especially the incredulous buyer of the Rx8.

On again now. Not much to report so far, save the know it all trader who's missus would go mad if he bought another car.

*Edit: the fat bloke who bought the Merc has just discovered what everyone else knew about it before he bid on it.

Pretty sure that's Moyles during the pie period.

Mind you, Brewer seems to have found the inflate button.
