The Colt Single Action Army which is also known as the Single Action Army, SAA, Model P, Peacemaker, M1873, and Colt .45 is a single-action revolver with a revolving cylinder holding six metallic cartridges. It was designed for the U.S. government service revolver trials of 1872 by Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company – today's Colt's Manufacturing Company – and was adopted as the standard military service revolver until 1892.

The Colt SAA has been offered in over 30 different calibers and various barrel lengths. Its overall appearance has remained consistent since 1873. Colt has discontinued its production twice, but brought it back due to popular demand. The revolver was popular with ranchers, lawmen, and outlaws alike, but as of the early 21st century, models are mostly bought by collectors and re-enactors. Its design has influenced the production of numerous other models from other companies.

The Colt SAA revolver is a famous piece of Americana, known as "The Gun That Won the West".

Tatahashi Mitsubishi, was born in 1934 in a small town in probably Japan. From an very early age, he showed a great interest in two things: car design and the old west.
By the age of 9, he was Sherriff of his junior school and could draw a Ford Focus freehand, using a compass for only the wheels.
He rode a horse everywhere he went and was often seen drinking saspirilla while devising ways to make rear arches rust at rates in excess of expectation.

Little is known about the rest of his life, other than the moment when his two great loves converged in 1988.

In 1988 he took all the properties that made THE GUN THAT WON THE WEST such a success, and applied then to autamotive design.

See the metal bodied construction. The "six shooter" six cylinder, three lite engine. The wooden grips, the manual action gear change and the unmistakable Colt lines throughout.

ROAD TEST:

Long thin snake car is carpeted plushly throughout its length and across most of its width, making treading to and from the disabled toilet a pleasure.

Seating is both supportive and bi-directional though can not be described as comfortable to any degree.

Acceleration is best described as sluggish though power delivery is smooth and seemingly endless. I would not be surprised if this old girl would too 125 miles per hour if we found a long thin metal road long enough.

Handling is great. Though the kerbweight is in excess of six hundred tonnes, she still handles like she is on rails even at speed and under breaking. Slowing down for tight bends is essential.

Braking is noisy but effective, producing some judder and squealing but great confidence is instilled by the solid feel and the sharp bite of the anchors.

In vehicle entertainment is very much "use what you brung" so it's possible to listen to whatever you like, or to pick your nose, if desired.

All in all, I would rate it 5 out of 10.

LEEDS achieved.

We arrive out of season, to find only one crane, which still displays in vien, though all potential suitors are migrated to Benidorm for the warmer, summer months.

Manchester is Brittains forth smallest town and boasts two proffesional football teams. Staybridge Celtic and Bury.

The local dialect is Manx, and cats are born without tails within its county boundary.

Manchester.

Mad ferret.
